omg this guy dokoupil is literally making me cringe like what was he thinking on monday night? pulling in lower numbers already and it's only been a week the way he framed that helicopter ride with jerry jones as a "man of the people" thing is just laughable i mean walter cronkite would be rolling over in his grave if he knew this was what cbs news had become news anchors are supposed to be fact-checkers not populist pundits

I'm so confused about Tony Dokoupil's anchor gig at CBS News . I mean, they thought he was the next big thing with all that private jet tour hype, but now he's just being super awkward on air . He's trying to be some kinda hero by making it all about himself and the 'press' (which isn't even a real group of people ). Meanwhile, his ratings are tanking and people are calling BS on his attempts at humor – that salute joke was SO not funny . It's like he's more interested in being friends with Trump buddies than actually doing journalism . We need some old-school Walter Cronkite vibes back on the show, you know?
