I mean, can we really say that wind turbines are a threat to our country? It seems like just another way to slow down progress and benefit the fossil fuel industry .

I'm not against safety measures or proper vetting of projects, but this feels like a case of "if you can't win on facts, try to confuse us with vague national security concerns" . The fact that the DoD gave these wind turbines a green light already suggests they're not a major concern .
