The match got off to a lively start with both teams creating chances early on. However, it was Liverpool who struck first through an own goal by Barnsley's defender, which gave the home team the lead just after the 10-minute mark.

Barnsley equalized in the 32nd minute, as they grew in confidence and started to pose a threat to Liverpool's goal. The visitors' intensity paid off when they took the lead through a well-placed shot from the edge of the box.

The Reds sealed their victory in the 90th minute with a third goal from a set-piece, which left Barnsley's hopes of staging a comeback hanging by a thread.

The win marked a significant milestone for Liverpool, who extended their FA Cup hopes with the victory over Barnsley. The Reds now look forward to their next challenge in the competition, as they aim to make further progress and bring another trophy to Anfield.

I'm totally on the Barnsley side 🤔... I mean, can you blame them for trying to cause an upset against a massive Premier League team? They got some great shots on goal and their energy was infectious! Liverpool's own goal was just luck, let's be real 😂. And yeah, they did fall behind, but what's a little setback when you're playing with heart? Barnsley should get all the credit for giving Liverpool a run for their money 🙌. Those late goals from Liverpool were more like a fluke than a testament to their resilience... I mean, come on, a set-piece winner in the 90th minute is not exactly a display of skill 💪.

Yooo I'm lovin' how Liverpool turned it around against Barnsley 🤩! 2 goals in the last half hour is crazy! They showed some serious heart and grit to come from behind like that 💪. Barnsley, on the other hand, should be super proud of themselves for giving Liverpool a run for their money 😊. It's not often you see a League One side go toe-to-toe with an English top-flight team in the FA Cup. The Reds' spirit is still going strong after that impressive comeback 💫.

Liverpool totally dominated that game 🙌! I mean, Barnsley put up a good fight, but those late goals from Liverpool just changed everything 💥. Salah's goal before halftime was a great equalizer for them, and then that set-piece in the 90th minute sealed it for them 🔒. It shows how resilient they are as a team. And I love how Barnsley can hold their heads high after giving such a good performance 🙏, even if they didn't get the win. Liverpool's fans must be thrilled to see them bounce back like that 💪!

idk about this one...4-1 is a pretty big gap to close down in 60 minutes, especially when you're up by an own goal 🤔. barnsley's reaction was actually pretty impressive, looked like they really were gonna cause an upset. but the way liverpool scored those last two goals just seems kinda too easy...like they just kind of camped out there waiting for a set-piece to come in 🙄. also, why didn't barnsley try harder to win the game after taking the lead? i guess it's easy to get complacent when you're up 2-1 against liverpool 😒.

OMG I'm so hyped for Liverpool!!! 😆 They totally deserved that win after going down 2-1! 🤯 Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané were on fire! 💥 And can we talk about the Barnsley team's determination? 🙌 They gave Liverpool a run for their money, but in the end, the Reds' experience and skill won out. 💪

I love how Liverpool came from behind to score those late goals - it's like they were saying "hold my beer"! 😂 The set-piece goal was so cool, too - that's what separates the champs from the chumps, you know? 💥 Barnsley might not have won, but they got a major respect boost from playing against one of Europe's top teams. 🙏 Bring on the next match! 🎉

idk how barnsley even made it this far in the fa cup lol! but i gotta give them credit, they brought a fire that liverpool didn't expect 💥. those late goals from liverpool were pure relief for their fans tho 🙏. i mean, barnsley had barnsley and liverpool was down at halftime...that's just crazy 🤯. liverpool's resilience though is what won the game in the end 💪

I'm loving this game! I mean, Liverpool really pulled it off at the end there. Their late goals were insane! Like, who wouldn't be on the edge of their seat when Salah slots that one home? 🤯 I'm so impressed with Sadio Mané's through ball, too - what a assist! 💪

Barnsley, though... they definitely gave it their all, and I love how they didn't back down from the big teams. It's not easy playing against Liverpool, you know? They're one of the best teams in Europe for a reason. 🏆 But seriously, Barnsley showed some serious heart and determination out there.

I think this win is a great boost for Liverpool, especially coming into the FA Cup. They've got some real momentum now, and I'm excited to see how they'll carry that through to their next match. Fingers crossed! 🤞

I'm so glad I don't have to watch any more 3am goal fest at Anfield 😴... seriously though, how's it even possible for a team from League One to go toe-to-toe with the Reds? Barnsley should be proud of themselves for putting up a fight against all odds 💪. And on a personal note, I'm still trying to figure out why they let that own goal slip through 🤦‍♂️. Guess it's back to the drawing board for Klopp and co. ⏰
