When is it no longer ‘cooler by the lake’?

I'm so stoked about this "cooler by the lake" thing! I mean, can you imagine going to the beach in Chicago and being like, 80 degrees cooler than everywhere else? It's like having your own personal AC on a hot day. 🌞😎 And it's not just that, but it also makes the lake so calm and peaceful in the summer. Just be aware of how close you need to be to Lake Michigan to experience it, though - I don't want anyone getting too comfy thinking they can chill by the water all day. But seriously, have you ever experienced this phenomenon? It's pretty wild! And on a separate note, lake-effect snow is like, whoa... heavy snowfall in Chicago? That sounds crazy! I'm glad people are aware of it now, even if it does sound kinda intimidating 😊

🌊 this makes total sense why chicago beach days are so weird lol the temp drop around lake michigan is wild... i was at montrose beach like 2 yrs ago and it was freezing even though the city was like 80+ 🤯
