I think the Yanks are just looking to make room for Bichette and it's not about Chisholm or his floor being lower, lol what does that even mean? Like if you're a pro athlete, shouldn't your "floor" be a thing of the past . I'm not sure about the Yankees making this move, they're trying to retool their lineup and add some power, but I think it's gonna backfire if they trade away Chisholm now . He had a great breakout season last year and his floor is still pretty high for a second baseman. And let's be real, Volpe's injury is just the icing on the cake . If Bichette signs with them, it's gonna create a logjam at shortstop and I think the Yankees are just gonna end up having to make some tough decisions down the line . Maybe they should just focus on finding another way to get Bichette without getting rid of Chisholm .
