George Clinton is like my ultimate idol in school we always learn about his music in history class and it sounds sooo cool that he's coming back to detroit where everything started 50 yrs ago 
i wonder if they'll play any of the songs from mothership connection at the concert tickets are like $63 tho thats kinda pricey lol but its worth it for a once in a lifetime experience 
The fact that he's performing some of his most iconic songs, like "Cosmic Slop" & "Mothership Connection", is gonna bring chills. I'm also really curious to see how Ray Chew will interpret the music for a new audience - I hope they do it justice! 
Overall, I think this concert is gonna be out of this world (no pun intended) and Detroiters are gonna go wild

I've heard of his music before but never seen him live, and this is literally a dream come true. Has anyone been to one of his concerts before? What's the deal with those crazy costumes he always wears? 
Also, I just realized that the Detroit Opera House is like, right next to Comerica Park... would've loved to see George Clinton perform there too
