Netanyahu says the announced start of Gaza ceasefire's next phase is a 'declarative move'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu downplayed the significance of a US-announced ceasefire in Gaza, describing it as a "declarative move." The fragile truce, which began last month, has been met with skepticism by many, who question whether its more challenging elements will be successfully implemented.

Netanyahu's comments come at a time when the international community is watching closely to see how the ceasefire holds up. With tensions still running high in the region, concerns are growing that the fragile peace may not withstand the pressure.

The US announcement, while symbolic in Netanyahu's eyes, does provide some much-needed breathing room for the parties involved. However, it remains to be seen whether both sides will be able to put aside their differences and work towards a more lasting solution.

Wow 🤔 Gaza is still so messed up, feels like we're never gonna get out of this cycle of violence 💔 I mean, Netanyahu's not even taking the ceasefire seriously? That doesn't fill me with hope... Interesting how the international community is watching, maybe that'll push both sides to make some real changes? 🤞

idk how much of this ceasefire stuff matters anymore 🤔 but i think netanyahu's being super realistic about it. like, what's gonna change? its all just words on paper at the end of the day. dont get me wrong, some breathing room is better than none, but i'm not holding my breath for any major breakthroughs 🙄 gotta be honest tho, it feels like we're stuck in this never-ending cycle of violence & diplomacy 🕰️

Ugh, this ceasefire is just a band-aid on a deep wound 🤕. Netanyahu's "declarative move" comment really gets my skin crawling - like he's trying to diminish the whole thing. I mean, can't he see that everyone's eyes are on Gaza right now? It feels like he's more worried about maintaining his own power than actually helping the people there.

And don't even get me started on the fact that this ceasefire is being met with skepticism 🤔. That's exactly what we need - more uncertainty and doubt. Can we please just have a genuine, sustained effort to find peace in the Middle East for once?

ugh i just can't even right now lol 🤯 so netanyahu is saying the ceasefire is like a "declarative move"?? does he not get that this isn't some game of chess where you just make a bold statement to see who blinks first? people are literally fighting for their lives here and he's reducing it to some kinda power play 🙄

i mean come on, what even is a declarative move in the context of a ceasefire? like is he trying to prove something to himself or something? 🤷‍♂️ this is just so frustrating, especially when you consider all the blood and tears that have been shed already. it feels like we're just going through the motions here, waiting for someone else to make the next move... meanwhile, innocent lives are still at risk 💔

omg i'm still trying to process what's going on with israel and palestine 🤯 like can we pls just try to live in peace? 🙏 i've been following this situation for ages and honestly it feels like every time there's a truce it's met with skepticism 😒 i mean i get it, tensions are high and all that but can't we all just try to coexist? 💕 the us announcement is a good start i guess, but at the end of the day it's still up to israel and palestine to work together 🤝 my girlfriend's aunt has family in gaza and she's been going on and on about how hard it is for them to live under all this pressure 🌪️ anyway, fingers crossed that this ceasefire thing actually sticks 💕
