Don Lemon blasts Minnesota churchgoers harassed by anti-ICE protesters for ‘entitlement’ and ‘white supremacy’

Don Lemon has sparked outrage after defending his decision to join an anti-ICE mob that stormed a Sunday church service in St. Paul, Minnesota, and blamed the churchgoers for being "entitled" due to their white privilege.

In a jaw-dropping interview with left-wing podcaster Jennifer Welch, Lemon claimed that members of Minnesota's Cities Church were guilty of "white supremacy" because they believed the US was built on Christian principles. He suggested that these Christians are entitled to their views simply because of their skin color.

The incident took place at a church service where anti-ICE protesters stormed in and harassed the congregation. However, instead of condemning the violence, Lemon appeared to back it up by suggesting that the churchgoers were responsible for the chaos.

The Justice Department has taken notice of Lemon's involvement and is investigating potential violations of federal law, including desecrating a house of worship and interfering with Christian worshippers.

Lemon dismissed these allegations as an "intimidation tactic" and claimed he was unfairly targeted due to his high-profile status. In a bizarre statement, he suggested that he was the "biggest name" in journalism and that he's often singled out for criticism because of it.

Critics have widely condemned Lemon's actions and views, with many accusing him of hypocrisy and racism. The incident has sparked heated debate about free speech, white privilege, and the responsibility of journalists to report on sensitive topics without taking a partisan stance.

omg is don lemon for real 😱 he thinks churchgoers are entitled because of their skin color? that's some messed up logic right there. like what even is the point of criticizing someone's views just because they're white? doesn't sound like journalism to me, sounds like a personal attack 🤬 anyway, i'm all about free speech and being able to disagree without being a jerk, but this guy's take on it is straight up problematic 😒

I'm really disappointed in Don Lemon right now 🤕. I mean, who does he think he is? Joining an anti-ICE mob and blaming people for being "entitled" because they hold certain views? That's not journalism, that's just plain old bias 😒. And to make matters worse, he thinks he's above the law just because he's a big name in the media 📰. Newsflash Don: having a big mouth doesn't mean you're immune from criticism 👊. And what really gets my goat is that he's trying to spin this as some kind of "intimidation tactic" 💔. Give me a break! The Justice Department should definitely be looking into this, and I'm not surprised they are 🕵️‍♀️. As someone who values free speech and equal treatment for all, this whole situation just feels super shady 😳.

man this is crazy 😱 Don Lemon just lost all credibility for me he's blaming ppl who were just exercising their 1st amendment rights on being "entitled" cuz they're white idk what kind of world we're living in where ppl think that's an excuse to be violent 🤯 but at the same time i gotta give him credit for speaking his mind, even if it is a pretty messed up way of doing it 🙄 maybe this will wake ppl up to how important free speech is and not just use it as an excuse for hate? idk, i'm all over the place on this one 🤔

Ugh, I'm so done with Don Lemon right now 🙄! He's literally crossed a line by defending that crazy protest at the church in St Paul. Like, what even is he trying to say? That white people are entitled just because of their skin color? No thanks, dude. And to make matters worse, he's acting like he's above criticism just because he's famous 🙃. Newsflash: being a high-profile journalist doesn't give you immunity from accountability! The Justice Dept is on it and I'm glad they're investigating these allegations. This whole thing reeks of racism and hypocrisy... I just don't get why some people can't see that 🤷‍♀️

man this is wild 🤯... don lemon is under fire for defending those anti-ice protesters who stormed a church in minnesota... according to him the churchgoers are guilty of "white supremacy" because they think america was founded on christian principles lol what is wrong with people these days? 🤷‍♂️

anyway let's look at some stats to put this into perspective 📊... 71% of americans identify as christian (source: pew research center) and 55% believe that the US should be a christian nation (source: gallup) vs don lemon's 10% estimate of "white supremacy" among american christians lol it's just crazy 🤯

meanwhile, 80% of americans think that journalists should not take sides on controversial issues (source: pew research center) and 70% believe that reporters have a responsibility to report the facts accurately without bias (source: pollster.com) meanwhile don lemon is taking a pretty clear stance here... 🤔

omg can we talk about something else this whole thing is so messed up 🤯 i was just watching this crazy video of a giant squirrel eating an entire pizza by itself like what even is that 😂 anyway back to the church incident, I don't get why Don Lemon thinks people are entitled just because they're white... isn't it kind of racist to blame them for everything? 🙄 and what's with all these laws about desecrating houses of worship? can we just talk about something more lighthearted like have you guys tried that new pizza place downtown? 🍕 i heard their slices are on point 🤤

Wow 🤯! Don Lemon is at it again, stirring up controversy like crazy! I mean, come on, blaming white Christians for being entitled because of their skin color? That's just messed up, man 😒. And what's with the church storming drama? Can't we all just get along and respect each other's differences? It's wild how one journalist can spark such outrage... interesting 🤔

I'm so confused by Don Lemon's comments 🤯. I get that he wants to talk about ICE and immigration issues, but come on! He's blaming churchgoers for being "entitled" because they believe in Christianity? That doesn't seem fair at all 😐. If people want to be part of an anti-ICE protest, shouldn't they respect the people in the church too? 🤔

And what's with his weird statement about white privilege? It sounds like he's saying that some people are more "entitled" just because of their skin color... that doesn't sound right to me 🙅‍♂️. I think Don Lemon should take a step back and try to understand the other side of the story better before making such harsh comments 🤷‍♂️.

The whole thing is really messed up, and I don't like how he's using his high profile status as an excuse for being criticized 😒. Can't we just talk about these issues without throwing shade at each other? 👀
