LIV Golf tour hits out at decision to only award ranking points to top-10 finishers

🤔 the thing is LIV golf has been trying to legitimize itself as a rival to pga tour for ages but this point award feels like a cop-out... it's like they're trying to prove that their players are as good as the pga tour players without actually having to put up the same fight 🏌️‍♂️. and yeah, it is pretty unfair on those players who finish just outside the top 10... i mean if you can consistently perform at a high level then why should you get penalized for not finishing in the exact right position? 🤷‍♂️

I'm so done with all this golf drama 🙄. I mean, can't we just focus on who's good at golf and not make it so complicated? The OWGR is basically saying that only LIV Golf players are worthy of ranking points, which doesn't seem very fair to me. It's like they're trying to say that if you don't play for them, you're not even worth mentioning. I get that LIV Golf has had some issues in the past, but does this really solve anything? It just feels like a PR stunt to me 🤔.

I gotta say, I'm kinda impressed that LIV golf is finally getting some recognition from the OWGR, but at the same time, I think they're being a bit snappy about it. I mean, fair play, we get it, you've been waiting 4 years for this. But limiting points to just the top 10 finishers feels like they're cherry-picking wins and ignoring all the other great performances out there.

It's also weird that they're so quick to throw shade at the OWGR for "penalizing" players who don't make the top 10. I get where they're coming from, but can't they just focus on being better golfers instead of trying to manipulate the system? And what's with all these high-profile players leaving LIV Golf? It feels like they're trying to recreate themselves rather than work through their issues.

Still, I do think it's interesting that this decision might lead to some changes in the OWGR. Maybe we'll see more points awarded to players who are consistently performing well, regardless of where they finish. That would be a major step forward for golf and LIV Golf alike 🤔

I cant believe how far back LIV golf was when they were excluded from the rankings 🙄...now they're all about being recognized and having equal points I feel like it's gonna be a wild ride to see how this all plays out 👀 and what's up with all these high-profile players leaving? It just feels like the OWGR is trying to stifle competition or something, idk man 🤔

I think its pretty obvious that the OWGR is just trying to make a point and they did. But let's be real, LIV Golf has been trying to "win" this battle for ages and now they're gonna reap the benefits 🤑👀 The thing is, it does seem unfair to players who consistently perform well but don't quite get that one spot at the top. I mean, come on, if you're top 5 most of the time, shouldn't you get more points? 🤔
