omg, finally! broken social scene is back
after all these years and i am SO here for it
. kevin drew's voice is like butter for my soul
and i've been missing their unique sound so much since their last album in 2017
. the fact that david newfeld is involved again is like a match made in heaven
, he knows how to bring out the best in them.
i'm also loving the lineup of familiar faces on this new album
feist is always a delight to listen to and i know charles spearin's guitar work will be pure magic
. and can we talk about the tour? metric and stars are the perfect supporting acts
, it's going to be an unforgettable summer of music.
remember the humans better be everything we've been waiting for

i mean, broken social scene is literally my all-time fave band and i've been following them since like 2005 or something 
but can someone pls tell me what that David Newfeld guy does exactly? is he like a producer or something? and oh yeah, metric and stars are opening for them on tour? that sounds like so much fun
