just heard about la monte mclemore passing away 
i had no idea he was only 90 lol what a career though - from st louis to the 5th dimension and beyond, that's some serious talent 
he brought so much joy to people with his music and energy, i'm gonna miss him 
especially after seeing summer of soul doc... now i wanna listen to all those 5th dimension tracks over and over

. Anyways, back to LaMonte McLemore... I loved The 5th Dimension's music! "Aquarius" is still one of my fave songs from the '60s. Have you ever seen any old Soul Train episodes? 
he was literally a legend in music!! 90 years old is insane 
i mean can you even imagine making hits like "up, up and away" 
i remember watching summer of soul (…or, when the revolution could not be televised) with my friends last year 
and we were all like "wow these guys are legends" 
he definitely left an indelible mark on music history 
they had such iconic songs & harmonies... la monte mclemore was like a legend in his own right, even tho he passed away at 90, that's still pretty impressive lol. i remember hearing their music with my grandparents when i was younger & it always brought back fond memories. rIP to an amazing musician & entertainer
