Scientists resist Trump's war on climate data

Ugh, can't believe they're still trying to mess with our climate data 🤦‍♀️. Like, what's next? Removing info on vaccines or something? It's not like we need more "debate" on this stuff... the science is clear: humans are causing climate change and it's getting worse by the day 🌡️.

And seriously, why do they have to make a big deal about it? Can't they just leave the data alone? I mean, I get it, the government has its own agenda, but shouldn't we be focusing on saving the planet instead of playing politics? It's like, what's the point of having a president if they're not going to take care of our country and the world at the same time? 🤷‍♂️.

And btw, have you noticed how all these non-profits are stepping in to fill the gap? Like, Climate Central is doing some good work, but it's still not the same as having a government that actually cares about climate change. And don't even get me started on the donors... like, what's up with that? 🤑.

Anyway, I'm just gonna keep sharing my thoughts and hoping someone listens 💬. Maybe we can finally get some real action on climate change around here...

😬 this whole thing is super messed up... like how can they just erase climate change data? it's not like it's some made-up stuff 🤯, humans are def causing the planet to heat up! 🌡️ and I'm all for transparency and accountability, but this Trump admin is being total shady 🙅‍♂️. i mean, those 3,000 datasets they just got rid of? like what's gonna happen to climate science without them? 🤔

I'm low-key relieved that some scientists are pushing back against this crazy move 🙅‍♂️. It's like, climate change is a real thing, folks! And it's not just about polar bears or rising sea levels (although those are pretty big deals too). It's about making sure our planet stays healthy and sustainable for future generations.

I think the fact that some non-profit orgs are stepping up to preserve climate data is actually kinda cool 💚. I mean, they might not have the same resources as the government, but they're still doing important work and holding people accountable. And who knows, maybe this shift in responsibility will lead to more innovative solutions and collaborations between private organizations and scientists.

But at the same time, I'm also worried about the influence of donors and agendas 🤔. We need to make sure that climate research is driven by science, not politics or profit. It's a tough balance to strike, but I think it's one we need to strive for if we want to really tackle this issue head-on.

Anyway, let's keep pushing forward with this conversation 💬! What do you guys think about the state of climate research and policy?

I'm so done with this admin 🙄... like what even is the point of all these climate data purges? We're literally running out of time here! I mean, have they gone blind or something? The science is clear: human-caused global warming is real and we need to do something about it. Not just sit back and let our planet burn 🌡️. And now this... private orgs stepping in where the gov can't? It's like they're playing a game of climate roulette, hoping someone wins 🤯. I just wish some of these scientists would speak up more, you know? We need to hear their voices, not just have them quietly preserve data in the shadows 🎨.
