Gulikit TT Pro and TT Max Review: The Perfect Switch 2 Controller

Gulikit's TT Pro and TT Max controllers offer the perfect switch for gamers who want the convenience of waking their Nintendo Switch 2 from sleep without having to get off the couch. These affordable alternatives to Nintendo's first-party controller, the Switch 2 Pro, boast drift-resistant sticks and a solid feel that's hard to resist.

Both controllers use tunneling magnetoresistance (TMR) joysticks, which are more resistant to stick drift than Hall effect technology used in Nintendo's first-party peripherals. The inclusion of these TMR sticks is one of the reasons why the TT Pro and TT Max controllers stand out from other third-party options on the market.

However, these controllers have some drawbacks that may not be ideal for every gamer. For instance, they lack an "A" button for accessing the Switch 2's GameChat function, and there is no headphone jack. The controller also features PlayStation-style sticks, which might be jarring for gamers accustomed to Nintendo's layout.

In terms of performance, both controllers feature solid gyro and rumble capabilities, although the TT Max has a slight edge over its counterpart in terms of rumble nuance. However, for most players, this won't be an issue. The real selling point of these controllers is their ability to wake the Switch 2 from sleep without needing any additional setup.

The controllers come with a form-fitted case and replaceable face button caps if you prefer an Xbox layout. They also feature customizable joysticks and a D-pad that's ideal for fighting games.

When it comes to battery life, both controllers are middle of the road compared to other third-party options on the market. However, in real-world scenarios, this translates to needing to charge the controller less frequently than its Switch 2 Pro counterpart.

Overall, if you're looking for a reliable and affordable alternative to Nintendo's first-party controller that can wake your Switch 2 from sleep without having to get off the couch, the Gulikit TT Pro is the clear winner. Its drift-resistant sticks, solid feel, and form-fitted case make it an excellent choice for gamers on the go.

I gotta say 🤔, I'm loving these affordable alternatives for Switch 2 controllers! I mean, who needs to get up from their couch just to switch games? It's all about convenience, right? 😂 Those TMR joysticks are a game-changer - no more drift issues for me. Plus, the customizable options and form-fitted case are so cool. I can already imagine myself gaming on the go with these babies in my backpack 🎒. Don't get me wrong, some might say they're not perfect (no headphone jack, PS-style sticks), but for this gamer, it's all about practicality. And hey, if you're a fan of Xbox style controllers, you can always swap out those face button caps. Overall, I think these controllers are a solid choice for anyone looking for a reliable, affordable option to wake their Switch 2 from sleep without breaking the bank 💸.

I gotta say, this whole gaming controller thing reminds me of the debate we had about accessibility in tech 🤔. I mean, think about it - these third-party controllers are making it easier for people to enjoy their gaming experience without having to get off the couch. That's more like a universal healthcare issue than a partisan one, right? But seriously, what's next? Are we gonna see more affordable options that cater to different abilities and playstyles? It's time to think about the bigger picture here - how can we make gaming more inclusive for everyone?

🤔 so I was thinkin' about upgrading my gaming setup and I'm torn between this new TT Pro controller and the Switch 2 Pro... both sound awesome but I've heard the TT Pro has better sticks, which is a major deal-breaker for me 😅. plus it's like $100 cheaper than the Switch 2 Pro 🤑 that's a pretty big incentive. what do you guys think? should I cop the TT Pro or stick with the original switch controller?

omg i just got my hands on one of these tt pro controllers and lets just say its been a game changer lol i mean i was skeptical at first cuz it's not nintendo branded but honestly this thing is so comfy to hold and use i can play for hours without feeling any cramps or anything 🤯 and yeah the drift issue is super important to me since i got a sick wrist from my old controller hahaha

also the battery life is pretty decent i mean its not as long as the switch pro's but like i said idk how much time i spend playing so it works for me 😴

i did notice tho that the ps-style sticks might take some getting used to lol but overall im super happy with this purchase and would def recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to the switch pro 🤓

I'm low-key obsessed with these controllers lol 🤩 I mean, who needs to get up from their couch when you can just wake up your Switch 2 like that? It's genius! And don't even get me started on how awesome it is that they're affordable and offer a more reliable drift-resistance than those first-party Nintendo controllers. The only thing I wish they included was a headphone jack, but I guess gaming without headphones isn't my cup of tea 😴. Still, the fact that they have customizable joysticks and a solid feel to them makes me wanna buy one ASAP!

I remember when I was still trying to perfect my gaming skills back in 2018... I had this one friend who was super into Overwatch 🤣. We used to stay up all night playing and watching each other's backs, literally. He had this crazy TT Pro controller that was so reliable it never left his side. The drift-resistant sticks were a game-changer for him, especially during those intense team fights. But I still prefer my trusty old Nintendo Switch Pro controller - there's just something about the feel of it in your hands that makes you feel more connected to the game 🤩.

I gotta say, these controllers are pretty cool 🤩 but like, they're not perfect either... I mean, who needs to use their phone to wake up their Switch 2 when you can just chill with one of these bad boys? But for real tho, the lack of an "A" button is kinda a bummer - it's like, why wouldn't they include that feature? 🤔 And the fact that the sticks are PlayStation-style might be jarring for some gamers. That being said, if you're looking for a reliable alternative to Nintendo's controller and don't mind the few drawbacks, these controllers are def worth checking out 👍

I'm not a fan of gaming controllers with no headphone jack 🎧😒. Can't we just have a simple solution where we can plug in our earbuds and play without worrying about the noise level? Also, I think it's pretty cool that these controllers can wake up the Switch 2 from sleep so I don't have to leave my couch 😴👍. The fact that they're affordable and have customizable joysticks is a big plus too 💻.

🤔 I'm not convinced about these controllers being a game-changer just because they have better joysticks. I mean, what's the point of having drift-resistant sticks if you're still going to have to deal with lag or poor battery life? Have we seen any reviews from actual gamers who've spent hours playing on these things? What's the difference in performance between these and the Switch 2 Pro anyway? And don't even get me started on the Xbox-style sticks... isn't that just a cop-out for not innovating enough? 🤷‍♂️

🤔 I mean, who needs all those fancy features when you just want a controller that can wake up your Switch 2 without you leaving your couch? These TT Pro and Max controllers are like the lazy gamer's dream come true... and honestly, I kinda love it. The TMR sticks make them feel way more solid than some of those other third-party controllers. And yeah, they might not have all the bells and whistles, but if you're looking for something reliable and affordable, these guys can't go wrong 😎

🤩 "The biggest risk is not taking any risk..." - Mark Zuckerberg (Just kidding, that's not a real quote 😂). Seriously though, gaming controllers can be super expensive, but these TT Pro and TT Max options are pretty affordable. The fact that they have drift-resistant sticks makes them a great value for the price. Plus, the form-fitted case and replaceable face button caps are nice touches. It's not perfect, but if you're looking for a reliable alternative to Nintendo's controller, these are definitely worth considering 🎮💻
