Today on Sky Sports Racing: Lingfield and Newcastle

Lingfield and Newcastle get underway with a packed All-Weather card for Sky Sports Racing, as jockeys gear up to tackle some of the best talent in the industry.

First off, Denis Quinn's Wyld Bill is looking to complete an impressive hat-trick at Lingfield, having already secured five wins from his 11 starts since joining Quinn's yard. The talented five-year-old, who will be ridden by Jack Dace for the first time, has been on a tear lately, notching up three victories in his last four runs.

However, Wyld Bill faces stiff competition in the penultimate event at Lingfield, with Denis' old rival Epictetus looking to rebound from a disappointing finish in his last outing. The seasoned horse, who went down by less than a length, has a chance to bounce back from that defeat as he takes on an even shorter distance.

Meanwhile, Mark Loughnane's Arcadian Nights is looking for his 50th% strike rate at Lingfield with a win in this event, and can be backed at a fair price. Kate O'Riley also returns to the flat after a successful stint over hurdles, where she finished third in a Grade Two at Cheltenham.

The Newcastle card gets underway with Francesi, who is currently third in the horse of the year leaderboard, lining up for his bid for the top prize. With nine rivals vying for victory in the Win Β£250,000 Handicap, Tony Carroll's seven-year-old must perform a string of impressive rounds to take down the competition.

Pink Socks has been on fire since moving to Ian Williams' yard and could cause an upset with her 100% strike-rate over Newcastle's course and distance. Aisling Oscar is the one horse that could potentially stop her in her tracks, however.

The final event at Newcastle sees Spartan Fighter bid to continue his impressive form for Antony Brittain, as he takes on nine rivals in the Midnite: Built For 2026 Handicap. The nine-year-old's latest win has propelled him into sixth place in the horse of the year standings, and a victory here would cement his position.

Cam Hardie's mount will need to get the job done today if he is to keep up the pressure with Aisling Oscar, who currently sits second in the leaderboard.

omg u guys can't wait for these races!!! πŸ΄πŸ’¨ first of all wyld bill is looking SO strong rn, 5 wins from 11 starts & on a roll with 3 wins in his last 4 runs πŸ† denis quinn's got this horse right where he wants him. but let's be real epictetus is gonna give it a run for his money too 😬 arcadian nights needs to come through tho, 50% strike rate at lingfield would be πŸ’― and kate o riley returning from hurdles is exciting 🀩

at newcastle francesi's in the mix & can't underestimate pink socks' 100% record over there 🀞 aisling oscar might just stop her tho 😳 cam hardie's got his work cut out with spartan fighter, but he's been on fire rn πŸ’ͺ

I'm loving this time of year for racing πŸ†πŸŽ. I've been following Wyld Bill and he's on fire πŸ”₯! I think Denis Quinn has got a great chance of completing that hat-trick at Lingfield, but Epictetus could give him a run for his money 😬. On the other hand, Arcadian Nights is due for a win imo πŸ‘. And can Pink Socks keep her 100% record going over Newcastle's course? πŸ€” I'm really excited to see how Francesi and Spartan Fighter perform too πŸ‘€

🐴 I think it's crazy how much hype Wyld Bill is getting for this run, but let's see if he can back it up! πŸ’ͺ His past form is impressive, no doubt, but Epictetus hasn't exactly been a slouch either - underdogs can be super exciting to watch! πŸ€” And what's with all the love for Arcadian Nights? Is 50% strike rate really achievable or just a catchy stat? 😏 I'm keeping an eye on Pink Socks too, she seems like the dark horse (pun intended) in Newcastle's events. Who do you guys think is gonna take it all home? πŸ€‘

so Wyld Bill gotta be considered for that lingfield event πŸ€” especially with Epictetus looking fierce... and Arcadian Nights looks like a good bet at lingfield too πŸ€‘ meanwhile pink socks is on fire over newcastle's course πŸš€ could make for some exciting racing today!

😊 so i think wyld bill is gonna crush it at lingfield - 5 wins from 11 starts is crazy! and epictetus has been looking for a comeback spot after that close call last time out. but honestly, i love the competition here - arcadian nights could definitely be the one to beat, especially with a win at a fair price πŸ€‘ meanwhile at newcastle, pink socks is on fire πŸ”₯ and she's gotta take it down from aisling oscar if anyone can stop her πŸ’ͺ what i'm most excited about tho is watching spartan fighter build his case for horse of the year πŸ‘

omg i just saw this thread yesterday πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ but too late lol wyld bill is gonna be a total beast at lingfield!!! 5 win from 11 starts and now he's up against epictetus again? yeah, Denis Quinn's got this one in the bag πŸ’ͺ meanwhile at newcastle i'm all about pink socks πŸš€ she's been on fire since moving to Ian Williams' yard and cam hardie is gonna have his work cut out trying to stop her πŸ˜…

Wow πŸ’₯ the racing scene is on fire this season! I mean, looking at Wyld Bill's stats, 5 wins from 11 starts is insane 🀯, and Arcadian Nights' 50th% strike rate would be a major milestone. But what I find really interesting is how Pink Socks has been dominating Newcastle's course, with a 100% record over there πŸ‘€, so it'll be fun to see if Aisling Oscar can stop her in her tracks πŸ˜‚. And Spartan Fighter's form is looking solid too, he needs to deliver today for Antony Brittain πŸ†.

omg i love racing events its so exciting! 🐎❀️ wyld bill is on fire right now like three wins in his last four runs thats impressive 🀩 and arcadian nights could hit 50 wins at lingfield thatd be amazing πŸ’₯ but i think epictetus has a good shot too he was close last time out and im loving the competition at newcastle with francesi and pink socks going head to head πŸ’ͺ its gonna be a nail bitter! 🐴πŸ”₯

OMG u guys, I'm so hyped 4 today's racing events!!! πŸ‡οΈπŸŽ‰ first off, Wyld Bill is lookin like a strong contender at Lingfield, but we gotta keep an eye out for Epictetus - he's been on fire lately & could definitely cause some drama. πŸ’₯

Meanwhile, Arcadian Nights is lookin to make it 50% wins @ Lingfield, which would be AMAZING!!! 🀩 & Kate O'Riley is back in the flat after a sick stint over hurdles.

At Newcastle, Francesi is lookin fierce with his current top 3 spot in the horse of the year leaderboard. Pink Socks has been on fire since movin to Ian Williams' yard, but Aisling Oscar might just be able to stop her πŸ€”.

Spartan Fighter is also a strong contender at Newcastle, but Cam Hardie's mount will need to bring their A-game if they wanna keep up with Aisling Oscar πŸ’ͺ.

🐴 So I'm looking at this All-Weather card for Sky Sports Racing and I gotta say, it's got some serious depth πŸ€”. Wyld Bill's hat-trick form is a big plus, but Epictetus could be the one to give him a run for his money πŸ’ͺ. Meanwhile, Arcadian Nights has been on fire lately and could easily get to 50% strike rate with a win πŸ†.

The Newcastle card's got some interesting matchups too πŸ‘€. Pink Socks is definitely one to watch, with that 100% record over the course 🌟. But Aisling Oscar's form can't be ignored πŸ’ͺ. And Spartan Fighter's been on fire lately, so he'll need to keep up that pace if he wants to stay in the mix πŸ”₯.

One thing I'm curious about is how these jockeys will navigate their riders' different styles πŸ€”. Jack Dace taking on Wyld Bill for the first time could be a factor, and Cam Hardie's form with Spartan Fighter has been solid πŸ”œ. Overall, it's shaping up to be an epic showdown πŸ’₯.

OMG 🀩, so Wyld Bill is looking like a lock to win at Lingfield! 5 wins out of 11 is insane πŸ’₯, and Jack Dace's ride could be the key to his third win in a row. But, Epictetus can't be underestimated either - he's still a top-notch horse 🐴, so we'll see how this plays out. Meanwhile, Arcadian Nights has been solid lately too 🀞, so it's gonna be tough to pick just one winner. The Newcastle card is looking intense as well πŸ”₯, especially with Pink Socks and Aisling Oscar going head-to-head - only time will tell who comes out on top πŸ†!
