Kristen Bell, Brian Cox and More Surprised to Find Out They Are Starring in Fox News Audio ‘Life of Jesus’ Resurrected Podcast

Several high-profile actors, including Kristen Bell and Brian Cox, are shocked to discover that they will be starring in a massive 52-episode podcast series based on the life of Jesus Christ, which has been picked up by Fox News Audio.

Bell, who voiced Mary Magdalene in the original audiobook release years ago, revealed in an interview with Rolling Stone that she had no prior knowledge of the Fox News deal. Similarly, Brian Cox, who provided the voice of God in the audiobook epic, was also unaware of the forthcoming podcast series until now.

Malcolm McDowell, who voiced the high priest Caiaphas, is another actor caught off guard by the news. His manager, Chris Roe, stated that they were not consulted or renegotiated about the project's new direction, and would have never approved it without knowing its full scope.

In response to the controversy, Fox News Media claims that the company's licensing deal involves a project that all involved actors signed off on. However, this stance appears to contradict their earlier assertions about the project's development and the level of actor involvement.

The "Life of Jesus Podcast" is a highly ambitious undertaking, with a 21-hour runtime and over 100 actors voicing characters from the Bible. The podcast will be available across various platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Fox News' own website.

While the news may come as a surprise to some of the involved actors, it's clear that the original audiobook releases have allowed for this expanded project to materialize.

I don’t usually comment but... I think it’s pretty wild that all these A-listers were in on it and didn't know about Fox News getting involved 🤯🎙️. It kinda highlights how crazy the podcasting world can get, where projects can morph into something entirely different after a while.

For me, what's really interesting is how they're framing this as if everyone signed off on the deal, but we've got actors saying otherwise... it's like, isn't transparency pretty important when you're working with big-name stars? 🤔👀

I mean, I'm not one to get all worked up about celebrity gossip or whatever, but I do think this raises some interesting questions about how creative projects are handled in the industry. Maybe we'll see a lot more of these behind-the-scenes shenanigans playing out in the coming months? 🤷‍♂️📰

I'm literally buzzing with excitement about this one 🤩! I mean, can you imagine the epicness of a 52-episode podcast series on Jesus Christ?! It's like, we're talking Game of Thrones-level storytelling here, but way more spiritual 🙏. I love how Kristen Bell, Brian Cox, and Malcolm McDowell are all coming together to bring this monumental project to life – it's truly a labor of love 💕. And let's be real, who wouldn't want to dive deeper into the life of Jesus Christ with such talented actors at the helm? 🤔 I mean, I'm sure there might be some behind-the-scenes drama, but honestly, I think this is going to be one for the ages – and I am HERE. FOR. IT 🎉

I don’t usually comment but I think it’s wild that they’re doing another Jesus podcast series 🤯. I mean, Kristen Bell and Brian Cox are like totally unexpected stars of it now. And Malcolm McDowell's manager is all salty about not being consulted. I guess it just goes to show how different things can happen in the industry after a project's already been done. The 21-hour runtime is crazy though... does anyone even have that much time on their hands? 🕰️

omg can u believe fox news is doing a 52 ep podcast on jesus?? 🤯 i mean i'm all about the bible and all but come on who would've thought they'd get kirsten bell and brian cox involved? 🤷‍♀️ anyway idk what's more shocking that they're doing it or that they're denying not consulting them lol like fox news needs to explain this one 🙄 i'm lowkey excited for the podcast tho, can't wait to dive into the life of jesus 😊 and btw has anyone else thought about how epic it'll be with 100+ actors voicing the bible? 🤯

omg can you believe fox news is doing a massive podcast series on jesus christ?! 🤯 i mean i get that they're trying to capitalize on the original audiobook success but 52 episodes?? that's just crazy! and what's up with these actors not knowing about the deal? it seems like there was some major miscommunication going on here... or maybe fox news is just playing dumb? 🙃 either way, this is definitely gonna be a wild ride to follow. can't wait for more updates on this one 😅

omg u guys i'm literally shook 🤯 this is huge, like who knew fox news would be doing a massive podcast on jesus christ? i mean, i've heard they're going all out with 52 episodes and over 100 actors - that's insane! kristen bell and brian cox are both getting involved but they apparently didn't know about the fox news deal beforehand which is wild... i'm kinda curious to see how this all goes down 🎙️ i mean, it does make sense that the original audiobook releases laid some groundwork for this huge project - kudos to those guys for paving the way 😊

omg what is going on with these podcast deals 🤯 fox news is really taking over everythin! i mean im shocked too kristen bell wasnt even informed about this 52 episode deal she voiced mary magdalene in the audiobook years ago how come they didnt think of her again?! 😬 brian cox and malcolm mcdowell were also blindsided it makes sense that their managers would be all up in arms tho 🤝 its gonna be super interesting to see how this whole thing unfolds 📻

I'm so surprised by this one 🤯! I mean, I knew they were making an audiobook series about Jesus Christ, but a 52-episode podcast? That's wild! 😲 Kristen Bell, Brian Cox, and Malcolm McDowell all seemed pretty oblivious to the whole thing until now... like, what even went down behind the scenes?! 🤔 And Fox News is trying to play it cool like everyone knew about this deal from day one? Nope, not buying it 🙅‍♂️. It's crazy how these things can unfold!

can't believe these famous people got roped into a fox news podcast 🤯 they must've signed something blind or smh why would anyone wanna be associated with fox news tho? anyway, sounds like it's gonna be a huge production with tons of actors involved 🎙️ 21 hours is insane, but i guess the audiobook releases did lay the groundwork for this massive project... 📚👀

🙄 I mean, what's next? Are we gonna see a podcast series on the life of every ancient myth or legend? It's just too much already with all these new streaming platforms and podcasts popping up everywhere. Can't we just stick to one thing? And another thing, why do they need 100 actors voicing characters from the Bible? Can't they just find some talented voice actors instead of dragging out a huge cast? 🤯

lol what's next? they're gonna put a podcast series on every single holiday movie from 2000 🎃👻 and now jesus too?! i mean i get why fox news is doing it tho, ratings are probably thru the roof with this cast 💸 Kristen bell as mary magdalene though... gotta imagine how she'll nail that role 😂

I'm kinda surprised about this podcast series on Jesus Christ 🤔. I mean, we're still learning about his life in history class, and now there's a whole 52-episode show? It's crazy how far it's come from the original audiobook releases. I wonder if they'll have to redo their exams because of all the extra details... just kidding! But seriously, can you imagine having to learn this much new material for an assignment? My friends and I would totally freak out 😂. On a more serious note, I'm curious about how they're gonna make it engaging for listeners who aren't even familiar with the story. Will they need some extra help from their teachers? 🤓

OMG 🤯 I'm telling you, this is like a classic case of "they're watching us" from behind the scenes 🕵️‍♀️! One minute these A-listers are just voicing some Bible characters in an audiobook, and the next they're thrust into a massive 52-episode podcast series with Fox News Audio. It's like, what's the angle here? Are they trying to control our minds or something? 🤷‍♂️ And don't even get me started on the timeline - how did this project go from nothing to "we've got a massive deal" in like 2 seconds flat? Something fishy is going on, I can feel it 💦.

just when you think u cant take any more 🤯 fox news is producing a 52 ep podcast on jesus christ and its got Kristen Bell, Brian Cox, and Malcolm McDowell involved without them even knowing 🙃 their managers are all mad about it too apparently they werent consulted or renegotiated 🤑 meanwhile the fox news guys are saying everyone signed off on the project like that's gonna make it go away 💁‍♀️

🤯 I'm both intrigued and skeptical about this massive 52-episode podcast series on Jesus Christ's life 🕊️. On one hand, it's amazing how Kristen Bell, Brian Cox, and Malcolm McDowell were able to come together with such a vast cast of characters from the Bible - it's like they're all being thrown into a massive choir concert 🎶! The 21-hour runtime is wild too... you could listen to that in a whole weekend 😴.

On the other hand, I feel a bit uneasy about how this project came together. I mean, Fox News just announced this deal without telling these talented actors about it beforehand? That doesn't sit right 🤔. And what's up with the licensing deal - did all involved actors sign off on this massive undertaking? 📝

But at the end of the day, it's a pretty cool idea and I'm excited to give it a listen! Who knows, maybe I'll even learn something new about Jesus' life 🤓.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED! 🤯 Like, how did these people not know they were signing up for a 52-episode Jesus podcast? It's like trying to get out of a timeshare, except instead of getting stuck with a room full of Mormons, you're stuck voicing a high priest who just wants a pint of beer 🍺🤣. And Fox News is all like "We signed them off on it" but I'm pretty sure they were just winging it like a group of angels trying to get their halo's straightened out after a bad hair day 💇‍♂️🕊️. Anyway, I guess that's what happens when you try to make a 21-hour podcast – you gotta cast a wide net and hope some people don't end up on the receiving end of a awkward 'I'm with stupid' moment 🤦‍♀️.

Can you believe how this podcast thingy came about?! 🤯 Like, I get why they'd wanna do a massive 52-episode series on Jesus' life - it's a huge story, right? But still, Kristen Bell and Brian Cox had no idea their voices were gonna be attached to this Fox News project. 😱 And Malcolm McDowell's manager is totally having none of it... I feel like they're getting played, you know? 🙄

I mean, I'm not sure what's more surprising - the fact that a massive podcast series about Jesus' life is being produced or that Fox News is actually doing this kinda thing. 🤷‍♂️ Still, at least it's gonna be 21 hours of some epic storytelling... or maybe just 21 hours of people talking in the dark? 🤣

I'm so done with these podcast deals! First, you get an amazing actor like Kristen Bell to do voice work without even getting the details right about what's going on... I mean, come on, 52 episodes?! That's a whole lotta commitment. And now she's finding out about this huge Fox News deal and has no idea her voice was part of it from the start 🤯😱.

And Brian Cox, poor guy, he's getting roasted for not knowing about it... I feel bad for him, but still, shouldn't the producers have kept him in the loop? It's just basic human decency! 😒

And what really gets me is that Fox News is all up in arms saying everyone signed off on this thing... if they're going to be that sneaky, why not just own up to it and say "hey, we did something crazy and now there are 52 episodes of you voicing a character"?! 🙄

Anyway, I guess what I'm trying to say is: actors beware! Make sure you know what's going on behind the scenes... or at least get a decent lawyer 😂.

🤯 I'm literally shook by this whole thing! So Kristen Bell was in on the original audiobook and never knew about the Fox News deal? And Brian Cox too? That's wild. Their managers are totally in the dark now, though 🙄. Meanwhile, Fox News is trying to spin it like they had everyone's permission from the get-go... yeah right 🤥. I mean, can you imagine an epic 21-hour podcast series with over 100 actors? It's gonna be a wild ride! The "Life of Jesus Podcast" just got a whole lot more interesting 💬. One thing for sure is that this news will have all us podcast enthusiasts talking for weeks 📻👀
