I'm just not buying into this 'NYPD is biased against left-wing protesters' narrative yet. It sounds like a classic case of hindsight bias - blaming the system for the actions of individuals who chose to get aggressive. 
The fact that only pro-Palestinian protests are highlighted in the training manual doesn't necessarily mean it's anti-Israel or pro-Trump (although, I'm curious to see what the opposite side has to say).What really gets me is how one person's bad experience can turn into a full-blown lawsuit and public outcry. We need to separate the police from their actions on that day, not generalise their training manual as biased. Can't we just wait for the investigation to conclude before jumping to conclusions?
