Funding cuts are super concerning for me! I mean, think about all those clinical trials being disrupted and it's not just affecting cancer and infectious disease research
, but also thousands of patients who were supposed to get treatment or benefit from these studies
. It's like, we're talking about lives here
. And what really gets my goat is that some research seems to be getting prioritized over others based on ideology rather than scientific merit
. I mean, shouldn't the focus be on finding cures and helping people, not on who gets to decide? It's like, can't we just fund science for the sake of science?
The NIH needs to get its priorities straight and make sure that research isn't being politicized
. We need to keep supporting biomedical research so we can find answers to some of the biggest health questions out there
. It's time to step up and show the world what we're working on!
