AI tools are becoming too powerful but ppl r not even thinkin about who's makin them work these workers have 2 deal w/ the consequences of AI's mistakes & they're gettin increasingly frustrated w/ companies prioritizin speed over quality
I mean, can you blame them? These AI tools are getting better and better, but we're still not perfecting the human touch. I'm glad some workers like Krista Pawloski are speaking up about their concerns - it's time for companies to prioritize quality over speed! It's like they say: "quality takes time," right? But seriously, this whole issue is a great reminder that we need more transparency and accountability in AI development. We can't just rush into using these tools without considering the potential consequences.
omg u gotta be so careful w/ generative ai tools like chatgpt!! i mean idk if im being paranoid but i had this one experience where i was using it 2 answer a question & i swear the response sounded super legit . then my friend told me it was just a load of BS . anyway, these workers who moderate ai content r literally doing such important work but its like theyre getting ignored by companies who only care about speed & profit . i had one of those amazon turk workers share this crazy story about how she almost let out a racial slur on chatgpt & now shes super vocal about the dangers of these tools . i gotta say, im starting 2 think we need more transparency & accountability in ai dev . its like, we can't just keep pushing forward w/ speed & profit over people's safety & well-being .
omg i just saw this article about these ppl who work on ai and they're like "hey we need to be careful cuz our output can be racist/ inaccurate" and companies are all "ok cool we'll just make more money off of this" it's wild. i mean i get that companies wanna make a profit but come on, ppl's lives are affected by the stuff they create. and these workers are like "hey we're the ones who have to make sure this ai doesn't spread hate" but no one cares about them. i'm just gonna keep using my chatbot to write my essays cuz it's way faster than me but what if it makes a mistake?
