Man charged with murdering two women and raping another

London Police Charge Man Over Multiple Murders and Rape Allegations

Simon Levy, 40, is set to appear before Westminster magistrates court on Tuesday to face a second murder charge. The move comes as part of an investigation that has already led to two other high-profile charges against the man.

Initially arrested in April over the murder of 53-year-old Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo, whose body was discovered in south London in March, Levy had been released under investigation. However, police later re-arrested him on suspicion of her murder and that of another woman, Sheryl Wilkins, who was found dead on Tottenham High Road.

Wilkins' body was discovered over two months before Valencia-Trujillo's, yet it took almost seven weeks for Levy to be formally charged with her murder. The Metropolitan police have since confirmed that the investigation into both murders is being treated as part of a single case.

Levy also faces charges in connection with the rape and grievous bodily harm of another woman, who was found injured on Tottenham High Road at the same time as Wilkins. He has been charged with two counts of rape, grievous bodily harm, and intentional suffocation in relation to that incident.

The police have urged anyone with information about Levy or other allegations related to him to come forward. The investigation is believed to involve multiple boroughs, including Haringey and Southwark, who are working together to encourage reporting and raise awareness of support services for victims-survivors.

Levy's next court appearance will be at the central criminal court on Wednesday for a pre-trial hearing over the charge of murder in relation to Wilkins' death.

OMG, you guys! 🀯 This is like something straight outta a horror movie πŸŽƒπŸ‘». I'm so glad the police are taking this super seriously and trying to piece together what happened with these two women πŸ’”. 7 weeks feels like forever for them to be formally charged, but at least now justice might finally be served βš–οΈ. I'm not sure how the investigation is going, but it's clear that Simon Levy is a danger to society 🚫. Let's hope he gets held accountable and that the victims' families get some closure πŸ’•. It's also really important for anyone who might have info to come forward and share their story πŸ—£οΈ. We need to support our survivors and make sure they know we're there for them ❀️. #JusticeForCarmenzaAndSheryl #HoldThePerpetratorAccountable #SupportSurvivors 🌟

man this is just like something outta a bad movie u know? like they're gonna lock him up and throw away the key but what if he's guilty?? its like 1995 all over again when we had that one case with the serial killer and it took years to catch him. and now hes got multiple charges and im still waiting for the trial to happen like whats taking so long? and thats another thing, can you believe they had to release him first and then re-arrest him its like something outta a soap opera 🀯

Ugh, this guy Levy sounds like a total psycho 🀯. I mean, two women dead and more than one woman injured? It's just getting worse by the day. The fact that it took them almost 7 weeks to even charge him with Valencia-Trujillo's murder is mind-boggling. What were they waiting for, exactly? Did they need proof of his DNA or something? And now he's got another pre-trial hearing on Wednesday... I'm sure he'll just deny everything and try to charm his way out of it again πŸ™„. I swear, some people are just born with a silver tongue and a total disregard for human life 😱.

So this is getting crazy 😱. The fact that Simon Levy is now facing multiple charges related to two separate women who were murdered and another woman who was raped is just mind-blowing. I mean, how did it take almost seven weeks for him to be formally charged with Wilkins' murder? It's like they were trying to stall or something.

And the fact that these murders are being treated as part of a single case is interesting. I guess the police want to make sure they're covering all their bases and getting everything right before they go to trial. But still, it's frustrating for the victims' families who have had to wait so long for justice.

The other woman who was raped is lucky to be alive, which is the most important thing right now. I hope she gets the support she needs from the authorities and from us as a community. It's not okay for someone to do what Levy allegedly did, and we need to make sure that he faces the consequences of his actions.

I'm also curious to see how this all plays out in court. Will there be any other surprises or twists? Only time will tell πŸ€”

OMG u guys I cant even think about this one... like I was just sittin in class learnin about criminology and now theres this dude who's been accused of multiple murders & rape πŸ€―πŸ’€ It's crazy how the police took so long to charge him with Wilkins' murder, it feels like they didnt wanna pin anything on him at first... anyway, I hope he gets what's comin for him, but at the same time, you gotta feel bad for all the victims & their families πŸ€•πŸ’” Can't believe how much evidence was out there and it still took 7 weeks to charge him with one murder πŸ™„

🚨 this is getting crazy! like, what's going on with Levy? he's been charged with multiple murders and rape allegations and it's already been 7 weeks since Wilkins was found dead and Levy was released under investigation πŸ•°οΈ...i mean, i get that the police are still investigating but come on, that's a lot of time to gather evidence...and another woman who's allegedly connected to him was also attacked at the same time? it just seems like too many coincidences πŸ€”...anyway, i hope justice is served and the victims' families get some peace of mind πŸ’•

omg what is going on with this guy simon levy he's like totally insane lol i mean two murders and a bunch of rape allegations it's crazy how long it took him to get charged tho almost 7 weeks is ages and another woman was already dead but no one said anything so now they're trying to figure out all the other stuff he must have done

πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Can you even believe this guy? Simon Levy, 40 and already facing multiple life sentences...or should I say, one life sentence with a bunch of bonuses for good measure πŸ€ͺ. Seven weeks from the discovery of Wilkins' body to him being formally charged? That's like, what, 17 days of justice per murder victim? πŸ˜’ Not exactly setting a great precedent here.

And let's be real, how many other women did this guy hurt? The police are urging people to come forward with info...well, I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who've had a run-in with Levy and just haven't wanted to rock the boat yet πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ. Kudos to them for keeping it quiet.

Anyway, can't wait to see what other "delights" this guy has in store for us during his court appearance...I'm sure it'll be a real page-turner 😴.

I'm really concerned about this case, it's like how can one person commit so many heinous crimes and still manage to evade justice for so long? I mean, 7 weeks is a pretty long time to be investigating someone and not having any charges filed against them. It's just common sense that if there's enough evidence, you should at least arrest the guy.

I'm also worried about how the investigation is being handled, with multiple boroughs working together it's like they're covering each other's backs? I mean, what if some info is shared and then gets lost or forgotten? It's just too much to handle without someone keeping track of everything.

🀞 I'm really glad the police are taking this super serious and charging him with all these heinous crimes πŸš”πŸ’Ό - it's just so frustrating that there were delays and people suffered before justice was served πŸ’―. I mean, I know we don't know all the facts yet, but hopefully, this brings some closure to Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo and Sheryl Wilkins' families πŸ‘«πŸ•ŠοΈ. And for the other woman who's been injured, getting help ASAP is a must πŸ€•. The police are doing their part to raise awareness about support services too, which is amazing 🌟. It just goes to show that justice can be served, and perpetrators like this won't be able to get away with their crimes 😬. Fingers crossed for the next court hearing and hoping Levy gets a fair trial βš–οΈπŸ’ͺ

I cant believe its been months since Sheryl Wilkins died and hes still walking free, I mean hes facing charges now but thats not enough, justice shouldve been served sooner, like 7 weeks is forever when you're dealing with trauma and loss 🀯. And another thing that bothers me is how the police initially released him under investigation, it just feels like they were trying to save face or something, I would've wanted answers way sooner than that πŸ˜’. The fact that multiple boroughs are working together to encourage reporting and raise awareness for victims-survivors is a good start tho, lets hope he gets held accountable πŸ’―
