The best Nintendo Switch 2 games for 2025

Nintendo's latest Switch 2 upgrade has breathed new life into some of the best games on the console, including the highly-anticipated 'Tears of the Kingdom'. For fans of action-adventure and exploration, this is a must-have.

The Zelda series has always been known for its innovative gameplay mechanics, but in 'Tears of the Kingdom', it takes them to the next level with the introduction of Ultrahand - a tool that lets players grab, stick, and attach objects to solve puzzles, fight enemies, or craft items. This game-changing feature makes quick work of even the most mind-boggling challenges.

But what really sets 'Tears of the Kingdom' apart is its seamless performance on the Switch 2. Unlike its predecessor, which suffered from frame rate drops and stuttering, this updated version runs at a smooth 60fps - all the time. The improved hardware has also given the game a boost in graphics, with enhanced dynamic range that brings out even more detail in the beautifully rendered world of Hyrule.

For fans who already own 'Tears of the Kingdom' on their original Switch, the upgrade to Switch 2 is well worth the $10 price tag - and for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass subscribers, it's a no-brainer. The added features may not be as extensive as some would like, but with the ability to save and share builds, audio logs, and quick load times, this updated version delivers.

I'm surprised they're charging $10 for an upgrade that's only gonna make their old Switch 2 players happy ๐Ÿค” I mean, come on, if you already own the game on your old console, what's the point of paying extra? It's not like it's gonna magically fix all the issues from before... or is Nintendo just milking their fans for more cash ๐Ÿ’ธ

just got my hands on the new Zelda game on switch 2 ๐Ÿคฏ and it's a whole different ball game! ultrahand is literally a game-changer ๐Ÿ’ฅ i mean, who needs to think about puzzle solutions when you can just grab and attach your way out of trouble? ๐Ÿ˜‚ seriously though, the graphics are insane ๐Ÿ”ฅ and the performance is silky smooth. no frame rate drops or stuttering here ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ i'm so glad nintendo upgraded their hardware - it was worth every penny of that $10 upgrade price tag ๐Ÿ’ธ especially for nintendo switch online expansion pass subs...

omg I'm so hyped for Tears of the Kingdom on Switch 2!!! ๐Ÿ˜ the new Ultrahand feature is genius! it's gonna change the way we play those puzzles & battles. smooth 60fps gameplay is a dream come true too - no more frame rate drops or stuttering like with the original version. and $10 upgrade price? that's a steal for fans who already have the game... Nintendo really stepped up their game with this one ๐Ÿ™Œ

omg I'm so stoked about the new update on Tears of the Kingdom!!! ๐Ÿคฏ I was getting so frustrated with the frame rate drops on my OG Switch, it was like, why can't I just enjoy the game without lagging? But now with the new hardware, man... it's like a whole new world! The graphics are insane and the performance is silky smooth. And Ultrahand? Game changer right there! I mean, who needs to resort to cheat codes when you have that tool? ๐Ÿ˜‚ It's not just about solving puzzles, it's about experiencing the game in a whole new way. Worth every penny of that $10 upgrade, IMHO ๐Ÿ’ธ

I'm loving the improvements on the new Switch 2! ๐Ÿš€ It's crazy how 'Tears of the Kingdom' is running so smoothly at 60fps now - no more frame rate drops for me! ๐Ÿ˜… The graphics are also looking amazing with that enhanced dynamic range. I remember being frustrated with my original Switch version, but this upgrade is making up for lost time. For $10, it's a total steal for anyone who already owns the game or is part of Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pass - it's a no-brainer! ๐Ÿ‘

I'm loving the fact that Nintendo has finally optimized 'Tears of the Kingdom' for the Switch 2's upgraded hardware ๐Ÿคฉ! The seamless performance is a game-changer (pun intended) and I mean it when I say that Ultrahand is a masterstroke - it completely revamps the puzzle-solving experience. Plus, the smooth 60fps frame rate and those gorgeous graphics make for an immersive experience that's hard to put down ๐Ÿ“บ. For fans who already own the game on their original Switch, the upgrade is a no-brainer at $10... honestly, I think Nintendo might've undersold it ๐Ÿ˜Š. Now if only they'd include more comprehensive save data management features and possibly some co-op multi-player options... that would take 'Tears of the Kingdom' to the next level ๐Ÿš€!

I'm telling you, something fishy is going on here... I mean, who thought it was a good idea to make the upgrade to Switch 2 only $10? That's just suspicious, you know? It's like they're trying to make as much money as possible from us fans. And don't even get me started on the frame rate drops and stuttering on the original Switch... that was definitely a hidden bug, if you ask me ๐Ÿค”. I'm not saying it wasn't just an issue with the hardware, but come on, Nintendo knows they can do better. And have you noticed how smooth the 60fps performance is now? It's like they've been testing it for months... or maybe they were waiting for the right moment to release it ๐Ÿค‘. I'm not buying it (pun intended).

omg u guys im so hyped about tears of the kingdom ๐Ÿคฉ i mean i was one of those ppl who thought nintendo was done with zelda series lol but now that theyve upgraded it to switch 2 i can finally play it without my eyes glazing over from lag ๐Ÿ˜‚ and ultrahand is literally a game changer like how do they come up with this stuff? ๐Ÿคฏ plus the graphics are insane on switch 2 everything looks so vibrant and realistic its giving me life ๐Ÿ‘€
