HCSO seek help identifying sexual assault suspect known as 'Cowboy' who frequents N. Harris Co. bars

Harris County Sheriff's Office Seeks Public's Help in Identifying 'Cowboy' Suspect Accused of Sexual Assault

A suspect known only by his nickname "Cowboy" is wanted for allegedly committing sexual assaults at nightclubs in north Harris County, Texas. Authorities believe the suspect may be a retired Harris County Sheriff's Deputy and is approximately 50 years old, standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall.

The suspect, described as a black man, frequents clubs along FM 1960, particularly Chayn's Nightclub on the 3900 block of FM 1960, where employees are also unaware of his true identity. He claims to be a retired law enforcement officer, taking advantage of his supposed credentials to gain the trust of unsuspecting women.

Victims report that the suspect manipulates them into believing they have formed a connection with him before later taking them to a hotel and committing an assault. Authorities believe there may be additional victims due to his regular presence at nightclubs.

Detectives are urging anyone with information on the suspect's identity to contact the Harris County Sheriff's Office adult sex crimes office at 713-274-9174 or email with case No. 2303-09212.

omg can you believe this dude is still out there preying on people?! I mean, using his supposed credentials as a retired cop to get close to women... it's just sick 🤢. The fact that he's been able to avoid getting caught for so long is just disturbing. And the fact that he's targeting nightclubs where people are already in a vulnerable state because they're having fun and letting loose? It's just really sad.

I'm glad the sheriff's office is taking this seriously and asking for the public's help to identify him. I hope whoever knows something about this guy comes forward and helps put an end to his twisted games. We need more people like that who are willing to speak out against predators and keep our communities safe 🙌.

omg this is so creepy 🙅‍♂️ i dont no how someone can do that to people they gotta catch this cowboy dude ASAP 😡 i wonder if his fake badge is still legit 💁‍♀️ anyway did u know that texas has laws about false pretenses like in movies or something? and what if he has a accomplice 🤔 does anyone know if the police found any suspects before?

This guy is literally like a master manipulator, I mean, who does that? He just waltzes into these nightclubs, makes himself out to be this all-American lawman dude, and gets away with assault after assault. It's crazy how someone can be so brazen and still manage to fly under the radar for so long.

And the fact that he's a retired deputy is like, what? How did he not get flagged by anyone? Did his colleagues know something we don't? I'm genuinely curious about how this guy was able to pull off such a massive deception for so long. And now, the victims are having to live with the trauma and shame of being taken advantage of by someone who was supposed to be protecting them.

The police need to do everything in their power to catch this guy ASAP. I'm talking round-the-clock surveillance, interviews with every single person at those nightclubs...this guy needs to be brought down, no question.

🤔 I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole situation... a "Cowboy" suspect who allegedly targets women at nightclubs? It's just so messed up 😞. I mean, can you even imagine being in a situation like that and not knowing what's going on till it's too late? 🤕

And the fact that he's supposedly a retired law enforcement officer is even creepier... like, how do you even reconcile that with him committing these crimes? It just goes to show how easy it can be for someone to manipulate people and take advantage of their trust. 😳

I'm also kinda wondering why more people haven't come forward yet... I mean, the suspect's nickname is pretty obvious, but still, he seems to have managed to fly under the radar for a while. Maybe there are just a lot of victims who don't feel comfortable talking about it? 🤷‍♀️

Anyway, I hope whoever has info on this case steps forward and helps bring the "Cowboy" suspect to justice 💪

omg what a bummer this dude is goin thru i dont like that he took advntage of ppl like dat but u gotta feel bad for him too, sounds like he got some major trust issues from bein a law enforcement officer i dunno if i wud call him a 'cowboy' tho id rather say he's just someone who didnt use his position 4 good 🤠🚔

I'm so worried about all these women who have been allegedly assaulted by this "Cowboy" guy... 🤕 It's crazy that he thinks using his supposed law enforcement background is a way to gain trust, but really it's just scaring people off! 😱 I don't get why someone would think it's okay to manipulate and take advantage of others like that.

I feel so sorry for the victims who have to go through this trauma. It's not right that they're being targeted because of his fake identity. 💔 The fact that he's been hitting up nightclubs in one area is concerning too - it just shows how brazen he thinks he can be.

Can you believe that a retired law enforcement officer would use their supposed authority to do something so hurtful? 🤦‍♀️ It makes me question how we vet our police officers and if there's more to this story than what's being told. The fact that detectives are urging people to come forward with info is great, but I hope they catch this guy ASAP! 💪

Ugh, this is getting old 🙄 - another dude thinking he can just use a badge and charm his way into some shady stuff. Like, hello, that's not how law enforcement works, "Cowboy"! You're not fooling anyone with your fake badge or your tall tale about being a retired deputy. I mean, come on, 5'10"? That's like, super easy to spot out (I'm 5'8" and I can tell you're not as cool as you think). And don't even get me started on the whole "manipulating women into thinking they have a connection with him" thing - that's just low 🤢. Anyway, authorities need our help to catch this guy so hopefully someone out there will come forward with some info 💪

Ugh, can't believe they're relying on nightclub goers to catch this guy 😒. Like, what even is a nightclub anymore? It's not like you're going there to just "hang out" now... but seriously, why do we need the public's help in identifying a suspect who allegedly took advantage of people in a situation where one would expect them to be more aware of their surroundings?

I'm so sick of these "retired law enforcement officer" clichés 🙄. Just because he claims to have a connection to the police doesn't make him trustworthy, you know? And what's with the whole "frequents clubs along FM 1960" thing? Is he just going to keep hitting up that one spot until someone figures out who he is?

And honestly, I don't get why they're not already using social media and online databases to track down this guy 🤔. Like, it's not exactly rocket science...

🚨 This is so messed up! I mean, can you even believe someone would use their fake credentials as a cop to scam women like that? It's just disgusting. The fact that he's been targeting these nightclubs and getting away with it for who knows how long is just crazy. And now the victims are coming forward, and I hope they get the justice they deserve. You have to wonder if there's more to this guy than meets the eye... is he really a retired cop or is this all some elaborate con? Either way, law enforcement needs to catch this guy ASAP and bring him to justice 💪
