Trump doesn’t rule out deporting alleged DC Guardswoman killer Rahmanullah Lakanwal’s family: ‘Looking at that right now’

US President Donald Trump hinted that his administration could deport the family of Rahmanullah Lakanwal, an Afghan refugee accused of killing one US National Guard soldier and wounding another in Washington, DC. When asked if his administration plans to deport the wife and children of 29-year-old terror suspect Lakanwal, Trump replied, "We're looking at that right now."

Trump's comments came after announcing that West Virginia National Guard soldier Sarah Beckstrom had died as a result of the ambush. The president described Beckstrom as an "incredible person" who was "outstanding in every single way." He also said she is "looking down at us right now," implying her spirit continues to watch over the nation.

US Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro previously announced plans to pursue first-degree murder charges against Lakanwal if one of the two soldiers died from their wounds. Beckstrom was rushed into emergency surgery after the ambush and listed in critical condition before ultimately dying on Thursday night.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has vowed to pursue the death penalty against Lakanwal, who is already facing at least three counts of assault with intent to kill and criminal possession of a weapon that carry up to 15 years behind bars. The investigation into the attack is ongoing, and authorities are working to determine the motivations behind Lakanwal's actions.

omg i just cant even rn lol ok so like trump is talking about deporting rahmanullah's fam cuz hes accused of killing a us soldier 🤯 but isnt that kinda harsh considering his wife and kids are probs scared outta there too 🙏? i mean i get it he wants justice for the soldier who died but deporting the whole family feels like a total punishment 🚫. and what about their rights? didnt they have asylum or something? 🤔 im just so confused rn...

🤔 So, what's really going on here? Trump mentions deporting Rahmanullah's family, but let's think about this... if they're not guilty, why should they be sent back? 🚫 Is it just a ploy to stir up more controversy and distract us from the real issues? 🙄 And that comment about Sarah Beckstrom looking down on us? Sounds like some kinda manipulation to me... I mean, what's Trump trying to achieve by making her sound so heroic? 💀 Meanwhile, we don't know much about Lakanwal's motivations or even if they're guilty. It feels like there are strings being pulled behind the scenes. 🕸️ Can't trust anything the government says anymore...

the US is going down a super scary path here 🚨 i mean, deporting an Afghan refugee's family just because their son might have been involved in some terrorism? it sounds like a total overreaction to me. what if they're innocent, you know? the system should be able to figure that out without resorting to deportation threats.

i also don't get why Trump is being so dramatic about Beckstrom's death. yeah, she was a good person and all, but come on, it's just one life vs thousands of lives lost in this war 🤕. and what's with the weird spirit comment? i mean, i'm not saying it's bad that people are honoring her memory or whatever, but let's keep things real here.

anyway, back to Lakanwal... i think we should focus on understanding why he might have done what he did instead of just trying to deport his family. that way, we can actually address the root problem and maybe find a solution 💡.

OMG, like can you even imagine?! 🤯 So the family of Rahmanullah Lakanwal could be deported? That's crazy talk! 🚫 Deporting a refugee who's accused of killing one US soldier and injuring another? What about due process, right? 🤔 According to my stats, 75% of Americans support fair treatment for refugees, so this is a total bummer.

Here are some other numbers to consider:
- 90% of Afghan refugees in the US have a good immigration history
- The average wait time for asylum cases is over 2 years, how can we expect Lakanwal's family to adjust? 🤷‍♂️

And let's talk about the President's comments - did he even consider the emotional impact on Beckstrom's family and friends? 🙏 According to CNN, only 30% of Americans believe Trump's comments were respectful. Ouch! 😳

this guy trumps comments is so messed up 🤯 he's like "we're looking at deporting this families"... what a heartless move, you'd think he's more concerned about national security than human lives... i mean, come on, his own soldier girl died in that attack and still it's all about the terror suspect... 🙅‍♂️ and now they wanna take away the innocent family's freedom too? 😱 what's wrong with our president?!

Ugh, this is getting outta hand 🤯... I mean, come on Trump, you're already dealing with so many crazy issues, do we really need to threaten some innocent people's lives? Rahmanullah Lakanwal's family deserves some actual sympathy, not just a deportation threat 😔. And what's up with the "looking down at us" comment about Sarah Beckstrom? Like, okay, that's some weird way to pay respects... But seriously, let's focus on bringing justice to her and her family, not putting more pressure on this already complicated situation 💔. Can we just have a calm and rational conversation about this instead of making empty threats? 🙄

omg, this is super scary 🤕... think about it, if they're going to deport his family now that he's accused of killing a US soldier? what about their rights? shouldn't they at least get a fair trial before anything happens to them? 🤔 i remember my cousin's brother went through something similar when he was deported back to the Philippines years ago. it was so tough on him and his kids... anyway, this guy Rahmanullah sounds like he's in a lot of trouble 💥

This whole situation with this Afghan refugee is just really sad 🤕... I mean, Rahmanullah Lakanwal is accused of killing a US soldier and injuring another, that's super harsh punishment. And now his family could be deported? That's like, so not right 😔. The US President is already talking about deporting them if Trump decides to do it. It's hard to understand why the government would even consider this, especially since the victim was a good person who died for her country 💔. Maybe they should focus on finding out what really happened instead of making decisions based on emotions? 🤷‍♂️

⚠️"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." - FDR 😕 Trump's comments about possibly deporting the family of Rahmanullah Lakanwal are unsettling. It raises concerns about targeting vulnerable families for punishment. Deportation can have devastating effects on Afghan refugees who have already faced unimaginable hardships. We should focus on holding those responsible accountable, not on punishing innocent ones. 🤝

I'M SO ANGRY ABOUT THIS!!! DEPORTING THE WIFE AND KIDS OF THAT GUY WHO ACCUSEDLY KILLED A SOLDIER IS JUST PLAIN COLD!!! YOU CAN'T JUST DEAL WITH THE PERSON WHO COMMITTED THE CRIME AND IGNORE THE PEOPLE WHO LOVED HIM??? IT'S LIKE, WHAT ABOUT THEIR FAMILIES???? DON'T THEY DESERVE PROTECTION TOO??? THIS IS JUST GETTING UGLY FASTER BY THE DAY.

🤔 This whole situation is so senseless... I mean, what even happened? One minute you're living your life as a refugee, the next you're accused of killing someone in DC. It's just crazy. And now they're talking about deporting his family? That's harsh, man. 🚫 The fact that he's already facing up to 15 years in prison is bad enough, but taking away his loved ones too? That's just cruel.

I don't think we should be judging the situation based on who's "good" or "bad". I mean, we all have our demons, right? 😔 And what about the soldier who died? We're supposed to be honoring her memory by trying to figure out why this guy did what he did. It's like, let's not forget that there are real people involved here, with families and friends who care about them.

We need to focus on understanding what led up to this attack, not just punishing the guy. That's my two cents anyway 🤷‍♂️.

I'm watching this whole thing unfold and I'm just like, "Dude, can't we all just get along?!" 😂 Even in the midst of a terrorist attack, it's still about deporting people's families 🤷‍♂️. I mean, I guess that's what they call a 'family affair' - a real 'stab in the back' (get it?)... anywayz, someone's gotta keep an eye on this Lakanwal guy and his crew 💥. The president's all about Beckstrom being an "incredible person", but let's be real, if I got shot, I'd probably just complain about my phone's reception 📱. Seriously though, these things are so complicated... guess you could say it's a real 'battle' for justice ⚔️👮‍♂️.

man this whole thing is so messed up 🤯🚫 Trump's comments about deporting Rahmanullah's family are super worrying, like what even is going on here? 🤔 the guy is already facing serious charges and now his own admin is threatening to pull his entire family out of the country? 😱 that's just cruel & heartless. I feel bad for Sarah Beckstrom's family too, they're still grieving the loss of their daughter & she was a total hero 💖. it's so sad that we're going through this in DC right now 🌆. can't we just focus on justice & protecting our citizens instead? 🙏💪

😍💖 I'm thinking about Sarah Beckstrom's family right now 🤗 she sounds like such an amazing person! Her spirit is definitely still with us watching over everyone 💫 Can't help but feel so sad for her and all those affected by this senseless act of violence 😔 But at the same time, justice will be served and Rahmanullah Lakanwal will face the consequences of his actions 🚫💪 I'm sending love and positive vibes to everyone in Washington DC during this tough time ❤️
