Report criticizes NYC trash plan, argues recycling should also go in containers

I'm dyin' to know why they're still havin' trash bags on the sidewalks lol 🤣. I mean, come on, we got people with vision for the future, like Joshua Goodman, tryin' to get trash off the streets. But then you got these environmental orgs goin', like, "Uh no, no, no, this ain't enough" 🙅‍♂️. Clare Miflin's all about thinkin' bigger, but I'm thinkin', why not just make it happen already? 🕰️ It's like, if we're gonna do somethin', let's do it right, you know? And I love that they're lookin' at schools in Brooklyn and Upper Manhattan as a test case. Maybe we can just copy their winning formula 😂. Who knows what'll happen with Zohran Mamdani's new mayor thingy? Either way, I'm excited to see what the future holds for NYC's trash situation 💪.

ugh, more trash 🚮😒. new york city's plan to put out compost and recycling with the empire bins sounds great on paper but it's not gonna make a difference if people don't actually use them 🤦‍♀️. like, how many ppl are just gonna put their recyclables out and expect someone else to sort them out? 🙄 meanwhile, the streets are still littered with trash bags because the city isn't doing enough to address the real problem: waste management infrastructure 🚮💸. it's just a bunch of bandaids on a much bigger issue 👎
