The 12-day lineup also includes roller disco, charity yoga, GRiZMAS Live Jam, community ice skating, and performances by GRiZ at the Masonic Temple on December 19 and 20.

Lastly, downtown Royal Oak is hosting its annual holiday shopping event, complete with a Christmas tree, ice rink, carnival rides, ice sculptures, roasting marshmallows, and more than a dozen vendors selling gifts and festive treats. This event takes place over two weekends, starting on December 5-7, and includes community drives benefiting the Metro Detroit Youth Club and The Bottomless Toy Chest.

Ugh dont wanna go downtown to all these crowded markets gonna spend christmas at home with a bunch of empty boxes and bills to pay. those 40 local businesses in merry midtown are just gonna be overpriced tourist traps also, who thought roller disco was a good idea

idk why ppl still go 2 physical stores 2 buy gifts lol u can just cop stuff online & have it delivered 2 ur doorstep. plus, online shops are way more convenient 4 ppl with mobility issues or those livin in da burbs. but hey, i guess some ppl just wanna experience the holiday vibes & take pics 4 their instagram stories

i'm definitely hitting up eastern market on saturdays, their holiday markets are my fave! and merry midtown in midtown detroit sounds like so much fun too, i love that they're including pop-up markets and vinyl bazaars . and of course, who can resist the charm of royal oak's christmas tree and ice rink?

i'm also stoked that there are events for grizzmas fans, it's like a mini festival with roller disco, charity yoga, and performances by griz . and let's not forget about the coat drive and raffle... giving back to the community is so important .
