Boston Common's Skies Lit Up with Thousands of Colorful Drones in 'Frostival' Spectacle

As winter descended upon Boston, hundreds of LED-lit drones filled the sky above Boston Common, putting on a dazzling display that left the crowds mesmerized. The first-ever Holiday Drone Show kicked off on Saturday evening as part of "Frostival," a season-long series of events aimed at boosting tourism and solidifying Boston's status as a top winter destination.

The show, hosted by Meet Boston and the City of Boston, brought together hundreds of synchronized drones that took to the sky above the Common. Spectators gathered at 6 and 8 p.m. for the two evening shows, which featured stunning winter-themed designs created using LED lights on the drones' bodies.

The Holiday Drone Show will return to Boston Common every Saturday night through December 20th as part of Frostival's events lineup. Other highlights include the Holiday Market at Snowport, SoWa Winter Festival, and the Historic Holiday Stroll.

Omg yaaas I just watched the drone show last night it was like nothing I've ever seen before! omg i just got back from boston and it was literally AMAZING !!! i mean i've never seen anything like that before - 1000s of drones lighting up the sky together is SO COOL ! my friends and i were literally mesmerized and took like a million pics to post on social media . but you know what's even better than the drone show? the whole Frostival vibe in boston was just so festive and fun ️! we also hit up the holiday market and it had some awesome local vendors selling handmade goods... anyways, can't wait to go back next year
