'It's like striding across the top of the world': the Pennines' new Roof of England walk

the north pennines are literally the most stunning place ever i went there last year with my friends and we had an absolute blast exploring the ruins and just taking in the breathtaking views the weather was a bit dodgy at times but that's all part of the charm right? anyway, i think what really gets me is how you can still feel this sense of community and history in the place it's like time hasn't moved on or anything maybe it's because we need more places like this in the world where we can just unplug and enjoy nature

just got back from that roof of england walk and i gotta say, its like the world decided to go all dramatic on me. one minute youre sipping tea with the locals, next you're trudging through mud in the pouring rain . but seriously tho, those hills are something else... they just keep going and going like the ultimate exercise in endurance . i also had a weird feeling of time standing still when i visited that tiny village in northumberland . maybe it was the lack of wifi or the fact that everyone knew my name (just kidding, nobody did) but for real tho, its amazing how this landscape just wraps around you like a warm blanket .

omg can you believe how gorgeous the north pennines are i mean i've seen pics but to actually walk through those moors and hills and streams is just wow so much nature and history all mixed in together its like time stands still up here i keep walking and the scenery just gets more and more breathtaking i pass by roman forts and medieval abbeys and it feels like i'm stepping back into the past at the same time im loving every minute of this walk
