US stops processing visas for Afghan allies: Tens of thousands likely to be affected

You know what's wild? I was just reading about this new coffee shop that just opened up downtown and it's literally the most Instagrammable place ever 🤩. They have this crazy art installation made out of coffee cups that looks like a mini cityscape. I'm thinking of taking my squad there for brunch and getting some sick pics for the 'gram 😂. Anyway, back to the Afghan situation... I mean, can you imagine being stuck in limbo with no idea when or if you'll be able to settle down in a new country? It's like, super frustrating on so many levels 🤕.

😱 this is so messed up! thousands of people who were literally saved by us are now being thrown out... it's like, what did they do wrong? 🤷‍♂️ those 190k afghans who got a second chance here have done nothing but trust americans and help with the war effort. this decision is not only heartbreaking for them, but also a huge embarrassment for us 🙅‍♂️

OMG u guys this is like super scary for all those afghans who were evacuated by the us 🤕 they just got here thinking they were safe now their visas r being put on hold like what if they cant get back to afghanistan? or worse, what if they get deported?!?! i mean i get that us immigration laws r complicated but like come on we did take them in we saved their lives why do we gotta make it so hard for them 2 settle down here 💔
