And can we talk about how well Joseph Fiennes does as Richard? He's so convincing as this man who's losing his grip on reality... but at the same time, you can see the love and hope in him. And Narges Rashidi is amazing too - she brings this fire to Nazanin that just draws you in.
What bothers me though is how the show glosses over some of the more complex issues with the Iranian regime... it feels like they're only scratching the surface, but I guess that's true for a drama and all. Overall, though, "Prisoner 951" is a powerful reminder that even in the darkest times, there's always hope - and sometimes, all it takes is someone to believe in you.
