OMG u guys ! AI bubble bursting is gonna be SO bad lol. I mean think about it... ppl r pourin loads of cash into this tech and if it pops, who's gonna get hurt? those big corp giants w/ huge debt probs. And what about the jobs? we already got robots takin over human jobs, now add AI to that mix...
But on a more serious note, I think Yann LeCun has a point about Large Language Models... it's all just speculation rn. We need someone w/ a fresh perspective on this world model architecture thingy. And let's be real, if the AI bubble pops, we'll be stuck in some kinda tech drought 4eva . But hey, at least we'll learn from our mistakes, rite?
omg i'm literally shook by how much money is being thrown at ai like what if it all comes crashing down and we're left with a bunch of useless tech instead of making our lives better?
i feel like everyone's so caught up in the hype that they're forgetting about the actual problems we should be solving like climate change, poverty, inequality... it's easy to get distracted by shiny new tech but let's not forget what's really important
I'm getting a bad vibe from this whole AI hype train . The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that we're just setting ourselves up for another economic crash . These Big Tech giants are borrowing left and right and no one's really holding them accountable . What happens when the bubble finally bursts? Are they gonna be able to pay back all these debts or are we gonna end up with a whole lot of worthless assets ? And don't even get me started on how much debt is already piled up in student loans and healthcare costs... it's like we're trying to create a global economic disaster . I'm not convinced that the AI itself will survive, just that the hype around it will eventually die down . Can't we focus on making AI work for everyone, rather than just lining the pockets of a select few?
AI mania is getting out of hand ! Everyone's jumping on the bandwagon, hoping to get rich quick, and that's just crazy talk . I mean, we've been here before with dot-com bubble and it ended in a recession . Can't we learn from history? The thing is, what if this AI stuff actually changes the world for the better? We're talking superhuman general intelligence, folks! That would be mind-blowing . But if it all comes crashing down due to speculation, that's not just a bubble bursting, that's a mess . So, will we get to reap the benefits of AI or will we just end up with a shallow economic downturn? Fingers crossed for the former !
AI bubble? Yeah, I'm a bit worried . Everyone's getting in on the action and it's like that old saying "when everyone's making money, someone's bound to lose some" . The debt these Big Tech giants are racking up is wild - what happens when they can't pay it back?
But at the same time, I think AI has the potential to change the world for real . We just need to be smart about how we develop and implement it. I mean, think about all the problems we could solve if we had superhuman general intelligence . World model architecture sounds like a solid approach - let's hope the experts are right!
