Perspective - Ukrainian philosopher Volodymyr Yermolenko on artistic community's support for Ukraine

idk why france is doing this "le voyage en ukraine" thing, it's about time tho 🤔. i mean, ukrainians are already struggling with russia bombing their country to smithereens, so an artsy cultural exchange init might just be the breath of fresh air they need atm 💡. yermolenko sounds like a legit thinker on this stuff, i reckon he's right that artistic communities can help ppl cope during wars and whatnot 🎨. btw, pen ukraine seems like a dope org, connecting artists across borders for support... might just make a difference in the long run 🤞

🤔 I mean, it's good that France is doing this "Le voyage en Ukraine" thing, but can we get a better platform to connect artists? The current one feels like just a bunch of people slapping each other on the back. What about actual tools for Ukrainian artists to share their work and collaborate with others? We need more than just some fancy events and networking opportunities... 🤷‍♂️💻

🤣 I mean, can you blame 'em for throwing art at the problem? Ironic, right? 🎨💥 The thing is, artists aren't just making pretty pictures anymore; they're the real frontline of emotional resistance. It's like, when all else fails, we turn to our feelings and creativity – because what else do we have left? 😂 And honestly, who wouldn't want to connect with a French artist over their shared love of, say, existential dread or whatever? 🤪 The initiative might not solve anything directly, but it's a start. At least now the world knows we're all miserable together – a universal language, right? 😒

I think it's amazing how art can bring people together during times of conflict... 🎨💕 I mean, when you're living under constant bombardment and stress, all you want is to feel connected to something bigger than yourself. And for Ukrainians, this cultural exchange program with France is like a breath of fresh air - it's a reminder that there are people out there who care about what they're going through 😊. I'm sure it can't be easy being an artist in the middle of all this chaos... but at least now they have each other's backs 💪.
