just think about it, like what if they actually owned up to making those vids and said sorry instead of trying to attack the artists? sabrina carpenter seems super cool for standing up for herself, i mean who wouldn't want their song removed from a vid that's basically promoting hate . and kids can press is right on with franklin the turtle btw it's not cool when ppl try to use someone's image without permission . anyway, this whole thing is just kinda weird...
I'm really troubled by this whole thing . It's like, I get that politicians want to use catchy tunes to get people on board with their ideas, but do they have to use it in such a way that's gonna hurt someone's feelings or make 'em feel like they're being manipulated? I mean, Sabrina Carpenter's song "Juno" is about letting go of the past and moving forward - what does that even have to do with immigration raids? And Franklin the Turtle? That poor dude can't even defend himself against being used as a prop in some sickening propaganda video . It just goes to show how tone deaf these politicians are, don't they know their actions have real-life consequences for the people they're targeting?
