Sen. Duckworth demands Transportation Dept. give $10,000 bonus to all air traffic controllers, FAA technicians

I feel so bad for those air traffic controllers who went through that tough shutdown 🙅‍♂️. It's crazy they only got a $10k bonus if they worked every single day, you know? 😩 Like, what if they're sick or have family issues? They still risk their lives on the job and don't get any extra pay? 🤯 That's just not fair. Senator Duckworth is totally right to speak out against this policy - it's like, show some appreciation for all the hard work they do! 💕 I think they should include everyone who worked without pay, even if they didn't miss a day. It's better than nothing, you know? 💸

I feel like Senator Duckworth is totally right here 💯. I mean, 96% of air traffic controllers didn't get a cent while they were working without pay? That's crazy unfair 🤷‍♀️. They're literally risking their lives every time they go on the job, and yet they're treated like dirt 💔. And now you're gonna give 'em a $10k bonus to only those who actually showed up... what about everyone else who was still out there working without pay? 🤯 It's like the department is saying "we appreciate you, but not really". I get that we gotta be fiscally responsible and all, but come on, this policy needs a major overhaul 🚨. Duckworth is calling it out, and honestly, she should. These guys deserve way more than just a pat on the back 🙌.

I'm so confused about this whole thing... Like, I get why they wanna give bonuses 2 the people who didn't miss a day of work, but what's wrong w/ givin it 2 everyone? 🤔 It seems like a lot of air traffic controllers missed some days while still gettin paid, right? And now they're facin low morale & staffing shortages... I don't know if the bonus is helpin or hurtin at this point. 🤷‍♀️

Ugh, this whole thing is just a mess 🤯... I mean, I get it, the government shutdown was a big deal and all that. But come on, $10k for some people who didn't even miss a day of work? It's like, thanks, but can we make sure everyone gets a fair shot here? 🤑 The fact that 96% of the workforce is being left out just feels so... unfair 😐 And what about all the controllers who did show up to work despite not getting paid? Do they really need some kind of financial incentive to be brave? 💪 I mean, it's not like they're going to start showing up on the job while feeling under the weather and risking everyone else's safety just for the cash 🤢.
