Sen. Duckworth demands Transportation Dept. give $10,000 bonus to all air traffic controllers, FAA technicians

I feel so bad for those air traffic controllers who went through that tough shutdown . It's crazy they only got a $10k bonus if they worked every single day, you know? Like, what if they're sick or have family issues? They still risk their lives on the job and don't get any extra pay? That's just not fair. Senator Duckworth is totally right to speak out against this policy - it's like, show some appreciation for all the hard work they do! I think they should include everyone who worked without pay, even if they didn't miss a day. It's better than nothing, you know?

I feel like Senator Duckworth is totally right here . I mean, 96% of air traffic controllers didn't get a cent while they were working without pay? That's crazy unfair .
