Flu season is looking super bad this year, with cases already spiking

. According to the CDC, the flu vaccine effectiveness for this season has been reported at around 25%

. That's really low

! The number of people getting vaccinated has also decreased from last year

.
Let me show you some stats on COVID-19 vaccination rates by state

:
Alabama: 72%, Arizona: 83%, California: 80%, Florida: 71%, Georgia: 82%... and the rest.
Boosters for Covid-19 vaccines have been dwindling, which doesn't help much

. I just checked and the US is currently offering 2 boosters: a spring shot and an autumn booster

. Meanwhile, other countries are still offering multiple booster doses

.
If you're young and healthy, maybe think twice about mask-wearing or social distancing

... but if you have health conditions or are around vulnerable people, be super careful!
Local healthcare is where it's at right now

. Check with your local health department or state government website for up-to-date info on disease outbreaks in your area

.
What do you think? I'm all about individual agency and community action to fight these illnesses
