Melania Trump unveils White House Christmas decorations for 2025. See the photos.

First Lady Melania Trump has unveiled the 2025 White House Christmas decorations, which she personally selected. The theme of this year's decorations is "Home Is Where the Heart Is," and they also nod to next year's 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and the founding of the United States.

The official White House Christmas tree, a 18-foot concolor fir from Sidney, Michigan, is on display in the Blue Room. The tree honors Gold Star families, those that lost a member during active-duty military service, with gold stars and ornaments representing the official bird and flower of every U.S. state and territory.

The East Wing was torn down as part of President Trump's plan to erect a large ballroom, so the Christmas decorations were rearranged accordingly. The first lady has chosen patriotic colors such as red, white, and blue for this year's decor, which also includes national symbols like golden eagle tree toppers.

There are over 1,000 ornaments on display in the Red Room, including butterfly-shaped ones that symbolize family and kindness. The State Dining Room features a gingerbread replica of the White House, with intricate details of the Yellow Oval Room inside.

The decorations were carefully curated by First Lady Melania Trump herself, who wanted to make sure every detail was perfect for this year's holiday season. The planning process started months in advance.

Public tours of the White House are set to resume next week, but they will only be available on the State Floor, as the East Wing is currently under construction.

I dont really get why she chose that theme though... like, isnt it kinda cheesy? And I mean, the tree is pretty cool tho πŸ€”, glad they got a concolor fir from Michigan. But 1k ornaments in the Red Room? That just screams "First Lady wants attention". Idc, cant deny its gonna be lit πŸ’‘, and i'm lowkey hyped for next yr's decorations, hope they doin somethin new tho 🎨

I'm not surprised they chose patriotic colors like red, white, and blue - it's America's home, after all! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ. I also love how they incorporated national symbols like golden eagle tree toppers and butterfly-shaped ornaments that symbolize family and kindness πŸ¦…πŸ’•. Can't wait for the public tours of the White House to resume next week, and getting a glimpse of the stunning decorations in person πŸ‘!

And can we talk about that gingerbread White House replica in the State Dining Room?! 🍞🏠 I'm literally drooling over here! The details on that thing are insane... months of planning, huh? Worth it though, imo πŸ’―

I gotta say, I'm loving this year's White House Christmas decorations theme "Home Is Where the Heart Is". It's so heartwarming πŸ€—! The First Lady did an amazing job curating everything, from the ornaments to the tree toppers. I mean, who wouldn't want a golden eagle on top of their Christmas tree? πŸ¦… And it's awesome that they're honoring Gold Star families with gold stars and ornaments representing all 50 US states. Very thoughtful gesture πŸ’•. The Red Room is looking stunning too, with those butterfly-shaped ornaments - so beautiful! ✨

I'm loving the festive vibes at the White House this year πŸŽ„β€οΈ! I think it's so cool that Melania got to personally choose the decorations and make them extra special. That idea of "Home Is Where the Heart Is" really resonates with me, you know? It's all about what makes our homes feel cozy and full of love. The gold star tree is such a beautiful touch too πŸ’•. And I'm so down for some gingerbread White House goodness in the State Dining Room πŸ˜‹. It's always a treat to get a glimpse into the magic of the holiday season here at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue 🏠.

omg 🀯 u gotta love how melania trump made sure every detail in the white house christmas decorations were super patriotic & kinda special...like, 1k+ ornaments in the red room? that's insane! 🀯 and i love how they incorporated national symbols like golden eagles & flowers for each state...it's all about celebrating america's history & culture. 😊 but can we pls talk about how they had to rearrange everything cuz of the east wing demolition? πŸ€” like, it's cool that they're making the most of it, but i feel bad for those who were planning on visiting the white house next week and only got to see the state floor...better luck next year! 😊

omg i love how melania's theme is "home is where the heart is" it's so cozy and feels like a big ol hug for america πŸŽ„β€οΈ! i also love that she incorporated symbols from all 50 states into the tree, it's such a great way to celebrate our diversity. and can we talk about those gingerbread details in the state dining room?! it's insane how much effort went into making everything perfect for the holidays πŸ°πŸ‘ i'm def gonna try to catch the public tour next week, even if it's just on the state floor 😊

I think there's more to this Christmas decorations thing than meets the eye πŸ€”πŸ’‘. First Lady Melania Trump always seems so poised and perfect, but have you noticed how the East Wing got torn down? That's gotta be a clever move to make way for some big changes, right? I mean, who needs a wing when you can have a fancy ballroom? And what about all these patriotic colors? Is that just a coincidence or is there something more to it? Maybe they're trying to distract us from the real issues while the ballroom gets built πŸ€‘. And don't even get me started on the gingerbread replica of the White House... too perfect, if you ask me πŸ˜’. Something fishy's going down here, I can feel it 🚨πŸ’₯.
