Putin calls talks with US on ending Ukraine war ‘useful’ but also ‘difficult work’

I think it's super interesting how both sides are trying to be all diplomatic about this... 🤝💡

Imagine two people having a big conversation in a room full of sticky notes 📝 (like me! 😊). You've got your ideas on one side, and then you've got the other person's ideas on another. Then you try to find common ground, right? 🌎

But it sounds like they're still kinda far apart on some stuff... Putin says his talks were "difficult work" and that he can't reveal what Russia will or won't do 😬. And Trump thinks Putin is open to making a deal? 🤔 That's all well and good, but how are they gonna get past the hard parts? 🚧

Maybe it's like this... 📊 (drawn with simple ASCII art)

______

talks
with US
for peace
_____

But then you've got:

______

Kremlin
says no
to some
of that
_____

Can they find a way to fill in the blanks? 🤔

thinks it's about time we see some progress on this whole Ukraine thing... Putin's gotta be tired of all these losses on both sides, right? 🤔 and Trump's special envoy team seems like they're trying their best to get something done, even if it's just a small step forward. doesn't sound like much is being revealed by Putin about what Russia will or won't agree to, which kinda sucks... still hoping for some concrete results from these talks tho 😐

🤔 I'm still having trouble understanding why they gotta keep going back and forth like this. Can't we just have one peaceful conversation without all the drama? 🙄 I mean, Putin said it was useful and necessary, but what exactly did that even mean? Like, what were they discussing behind closed doors? 🔒 It's always hard to know when you're not directly involved. But honestly, if Trump thinks Putin wants a deal, then maybe he's onto something... 🤞
