Letters: Inherited California properties shouldn’t get tax breaks

i think its super unfair that wealthy ppl like steffan (not sure if thats his name lol) can claim they got "wiped out" cuz of property taxes when ppl like me who r just tryna make ends meet cant even afford a decent apartment let alone a house worth millions

I am literally so done with people like Anthony Stegman who think they're doing everyone a favor by claiming they can't afford property taxes on a multi-million dollar inheritance . Like, are you kidding me? You're not "struggling" because of the tax hike, you're struggling because you never had to work for anything in your life . And then there's Kathryn Tomaino who's right on point about Proposition 19 - low info voters are exactly what we need more of... NOT . Meanwhile, I'm over here thinking about the real struggles that people like Manuel Prado are facing with mandated reporter training... it's so frustrating when we're supposed to be protecting our most vulnerable citizens but we can't even get the basics right . And don't even get me started on Congress and President Trump... like, what's going on over there?!
