‘100 Nights of Hero’ Review: A Mischievous Fairytale Laid Low by Its Withheld Approach

I just saw this movie and I gotta say, I was really hyped at first... 😊 The whole setup with Hero's stories being so captivating was like, totally intriguing! But honestly, it kinda fell flat for me. I mean, I get what the film is going for, but it feels like they're trying to cram too many ideas into one movie. The pacing is super slow and it's hard to keep track of who's who and what's happening. 🤯 And don't even get me started on how much I wanted to see more of the relationships between the characters... it felt like they were just glossed over. But hey, at least the visuals are gorgeous, right? 🌸

Ugh, what a total bummer 🤦‍♀️! I mean, come on, 100 Nights of Hero had all the right ingredients - talented cast, lush visuals... but it just fell flat for me. The problem is, they didn't quite live up to their own hype, you know? Like, the storytelling was all over the place and never really delivered on its feminist themes or queer pairings. And don't even get me started on how they handled the pacing - it felt like a tease more often than not.

I mean, Felicity Jones is always a good thing 🙌, but in this case, she got lost in the narrative. And Emma Corrin as Hero? So underrated 🤔. She's got some serious acting chops under her belt. But overall, I just felt like it was a missed opportunity to tell something really special.

It's also weird that they didn't explore the visuals more... like, those dreamlike sequences are what make the film look so stunning. And don't even get me started on Nicholas Galitzine 🙄. He's got some serious chemistry with his co-stars, but it was just never given time to breathe.

Anyway, I guess you'll have to agree or disagree 😊. What did you think of 100 Nights of Hero?
