I'm kinda skeptical about San Francisco being the best place to live in the world... don't get me wrong, the tech industry and innovation hub is def a perk. But affordability? that's like saying you can afford a house with just one income... it's not that simple. I think what Lurie needs to focus on is like, how's he gonna make sure all the new developments are actually serving the community, not just lining the pockets of rich investors

I think Lurie has got some valid points about San Francisco being a great place to live, especially when it comes to community engagement and local leadership. I mean, who wouldn't want to feel like they're part of something that's working towards their benefit? The denser housing along transit corridors is definitely a good move - it's all about making the city more livable for its residents. But, at the same time, you have to consider the elephant in the room: affordability. It's not going to be easy to make sure that families can afford to live here long-term, but if anyone can do it, it might as well be Lurie. His commitment to creating conditions for residents' success is admirable, even if some people think he's being a bit too optimistic about the city's progress
