I THINK THE RED SOX ARE TAKING A RISK BY GOING AFTER BO BICHEtte!!! HE'S GOT SOME GREAT SKILLS, BUT DEFENSE IS KEY AND I'M NOT SURE IF HE CAN ADAPT TO PLAYING SHORTSTOP FOR THEM!!! PLUS, HE'S GOT SOME POWER PROBLEMS AT THE PLATE... CAN THEY TRUST HIM TO BRING THE BIGGEST HITS?!
I think its hard to imagine anyone filling bregmans shoes in the hole left when hes gone... but Bichette would be good pick-up if you're looking for a solid singles hitter the real question is can he take some of that power into his swing? 208-212 million dollars seems crazy though
I dont think Red Sox should rush into signing Bichette, they gotta consider other options like Schwarber or Alonso too . If Bregman is gone, they might need someone with more power in their lineup, maybe they can look into other players who are similar to him? I mean, Bichette is a great hitter and all, but his defense at shortstop is a concern . And 8 years, $210 million is a lot of money, I hope they do the research before making a decision
