Wikipedia Has Its Own Version of 'Wrapped' Now, But There's One Little Problem

🤔 I'm low-key impressed that Wikipedia is finally jumping on the personalized review bandwagon. Their 'Wrapped' feature is giving me major "Harry Potter's Hogwarts Acceptance Letter" vibes 📨🧙‍♂️ - all the juicy stats and insights about what you've been reading and exploring.

But, gotta say, it's a bit weird that desktop users are being left out of the party 😐. Hopefully, they'll bring it to their desktop version soon so everyone can get in on the action.

Anyway, it's kinda cool to see some unexpected pop culture crossovers - like how "Thunderbolts" and "Sinners" ended up on Wikipedia's top 20 🤯. And Ed Gein's page getting all that attention? That's just wild 🤪. The world of entertainment and true crime is definitely having a moment on Wikipedia! 📚👻

This year-end review thing is crazy! 🤯 I mean, it makes sense that they'd wanna give users a personalized summary of their Wikipedia time, but desktop users getting left out is kinda weird...

But you know what's even crazier? Those numbers are wild! 4.6 billion hours spent reading articles? That's like, a lot 😅 And some of the most-read articles being about random stuff like movies and TV shows? I mean, I guess that's just how people learn these days. Like, if you wanna know about Ed Gein's life, Wikipedia's where it is! 💀

I do wonder what they did with all those views on Charlie Kirk's page though... That guy's a real character 😂 Anyway, props to the volunteers who made over 66 million edits – that's some serious dedication 👏. And hey, at least we get a glimpse of Wikipedia's weird side 🤪.

OMG, I'm so confused 🤯 about Wikipedia's 'Wrapped' review! They're like "hey, we care about your reading habits 😊" but they can't even be bothered to make it accessible on desktops?! Like, what's the point of making personalized stats for mobile users if it's just gonna stay exclusive? 🙄 It's so frustrating when tech companies do this stuff. Anyway, I'm defo installing the Wikipedia app just in case my desktop version shows up later 👍

omg I just saw wikipedia is doing its own version of wrapped 🤯 anyone else heard about this? apparently they got some pretty wild stats like ed gein's page had like 31 mil views lol what's up with that? also why can't we desktop users get to see these on our actual computers? 🤔

idk about wikipedia going all out w/ this personalized 'wrapped' review 🤔 it's a decent idea but why only for mobile users? like what if we want to see our own stats on desktop? i mean spotify & apple music did it back in 2015 and they got to include all their users, not just one specific app. wikipedia should consider including desktop users too, or at least give us an option to opt-in 📊
