A life was cut tragically short when a 54-year-old man, Brant Dykehouse, was found brutally stabbed to death in his West Loop home on Saturday afternoon. Police arrived at the scene around 1 p.m. and discovered the unresponsive victim, who had suffered multiple stab wounds.

this is just sickening,stabbing some poor guy to death in his own home...what's wrong with people these days? 
can't we just get along for once? and what's the point of all these newfangled security systems and apps supposed to do if they can't even stop this kind of thing from happening? 
i swear, technology is supposed to make our lives easier not more complicated...and now we've got these fancy augmented reality thingies that are just gonna be a distraction for people who need something real...like a good old-fashioned phone call or in-person conversation. 
I just can't help but think about how one random act of violence can leave a whole community shattered 
. We gotta remember that our actions (or lack thereof) can have consequences that affect so many people

i dont know what its gonna take for people to stop turning on each other, but somethin needs 2 change 2 days ago we had another news about a similar incident in another part of town and now this

like, how can someone's life just get cut short like that? it's crazy to think he was stabbed multiple times in his own home... what if someone saw something or knew him and didn't report it to the police?

can't even imagine living in fear like that in ur own home it's just not right
