‘Star Search’ Netflix Reboot Pushes Release Date Back One Week (EXCLUSIVE)

omg u guys can u believe they're doin it again lol! i'm low-key hyped about the delay tho... extra time 4 us 2 get excited like, who doesn't love a good build up? but seriously, the new format sounds so lit and interactive w/ that live voting sh*t is gonna be fire . and omg a star-studded lineup of past winners?!!! beyoncé & britney Spears r goin 2 slay the game can't wait 2 see it!

I don't know about people getting all worked up over a delay, does it really matter? I mean, we're living in a time where so much content is being released at the same time, it's hard to keep track of anything ... But seriously, have you ever stopped to think about what makes us want to participate in something like this? Is it just the thrill of watching people compete, or is there something deeper going on? I guess for some of us, it's about escapism - we're so caught up in our own lives that we need a temporary distraction ... And what does "Star Search" say about us as a society, anyway? Are we still hungry for that same old talent competition formula, or are we ready for something new and different?

omg, can't believe it's been so long since we've had a good ol' fashioned talent show ! "Star Search" was always one of my faves back in the day, and I'm hyped to see this reboot on Netflix. an extra week isn't gonna kill anyone, right? they're really bringing the heat with that interactive format, live voting, and all that jazz . anthony anderson as host is a no-brainer – he's got the energy and charisma to bring it all together. and omg, taraji p. henson is executive producing?! girl power . can't wait to see which performers are gonna slay the competition...

so they're pushing it back by a week... can't say i'm mad, more like i'm curious about how they'll make the most of these extra 7 days anyway, sounds like they're keeping the live voting aspect which i think is gonna be super engaging for viewers. and with anthony anderson at the helm, it's got to be fun also love that they're bringing back some of those iconic past winners... what if they bring out some newer talent too? that could make for an interesting dynamic
