The second game, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, takes an entirely different approach by expanding and updating the 1996 adventure that first introduced Lara Croft to gaming. This new version features modernized combat, redesigned tomb-delving puzzles, and a revamped Unreal Engine 5-powered experience. According to Kerslake, "Our goal was to respect the spirit of Core Design's original game while updating the experience for today's gamers."
Both games will feature Alix Wilton Regan as Lara Croft, a talented British actress known for her roles in Dragon Age: Inquisition and Cyberpunk 2077.

but I'm also kinda worried that it might be too much of a nostalgic thing, like they're just rehashing the old stuff instead of trying something fresh and new 
. On the other hand, the fact that they're putting her back in ancient northern India could be super interesting, maybe even more exciting than the original games

It's like, what if they modernize it too much and lose the essence of Lara Croft? Or maybe the new approach will be just what they need to bring the series back from the dead
