ASUS has stopped producing the RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB, saying they've reached 'end of life'

ASUS has effectively pulled the plug on two high-end graphics cards due to the ongoing memory crunch. The RTX 5070 Ti, which features 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM, is no longer in production for NVIDIA, according to a report by Hardware Unboxed. ASUS explicitly informed the channel that the card is facing a supply shortage and has therefore placed it into "end of life" status.

This means that the card will no longer be manufactured or supported by ASUS, effectively making it unavailable to purchase from any retailers or distributors in Australia at least for the first quarter of this year. The 5060 Ti 16GB model is also on the chopping block, with ASUS stating it has no plans to produce either card moving forward.

The decision comes as no surprise given the current economic climate and the increased demand for high-bandwidth memory from data center infrastructure companies. This shift has resulted in higher prices for consumer RAM kits, GPUs, and SSDs.

NVIDIA has historically provided its add-in board partners with both the GPU die and memory needed to make graphics cards, but it appears that this may be changing. A recent rumor suggested that NVIDIA told its partners they would need to start sourcing memory on their own, which could be a significant blow to PC enthusiasts who rely on these high-end GPUs for demanding games.

The 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB were popular among gamers due to their ability to handle more than 8GB of VRAM, making them ideal for modern AAA titles. However, it seems that these cards may be gone for good, leaving gamers with limited options if they're looking to upgrade or build a new system.

๐Ÿค” the whole thing is kinda sad, ya know? the memory crunch has been affecting everyone, from gamers to data center companies. i get it, the prices have gone up and people need to adjust. but it's like, what's next? are we gonna see a new era where nvidia is controlling everything? ๐Ÿค‘

i mean, think about it, if you're a gamer or someone who needs high-end GPUs, you gotta rely on these big companies for your stuff. and now they're pulling cards off the market left and right? it's not just the 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB, either - i've heard rumors that other models are gonna follow suit too.

it's like, what's the point of even buying a new gpu if you can't get the memory you need to run games smoothly? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ and what about all the people who wanna upgrade their systems but can't because of this shortage? it's just not cool, man.

come on guys, dont freak out yet the 5070 Ti was a beast but we all knew the memory crunch was gonna be an issue lol ASUS is just trying to manage their inventory and make some space for newer models ๐Ÿค‘ its not like they were making heaps of these cards anyway i mean the price of RAM has skyrocketed so its no wonder they had to pull them from production ๐Ÿ‘€ we might have to wait a bit longer for those 16GB 5060 Ti models but im sure nvidia will come up with somethin better ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Ugh, another memory crunch issue ๐Ÿคฏ! I'm so done with the prices of GPUs and RAM skyrocketing ๐Ÿš€. Can't NVIDIA just give their partners enough memory instead of making them scramble for it? It's like they're playing some kind of cruel joke on PC enthusiasts who want to build high-end gaming rigs ๐ŸŽฎ.

I mean, I get that the economy is tough, but can't we find a way to make things more affordable without having to sacrifice performance? The RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB were basically a lifesaver for me when it came to playing games at high settings. Now I'm stuck with limited options and higher prices, it's just not fair ๐Ÿ˜’.

I guess this is what happens when you rely on tech companies to innovate ๐Ÿค”. We should be advocating for better policies that help gamers have access to the hardware they need without breaking the bank ๐Ÿ’ธ.

Ugh I'm so annoyed ๐Ÿคฏ, can you believe ASUS just pulled the plug on the RTX 5070 Ti?! I mean, I know memory crunch is a thing and all that, but it's a shame for gamers who really need those cards to run their favorite games at high settings. And now NVIDIA's rumored changes in how they handle GPU production are gonna hit even harder. It's like, can't we just have some stability in the gaming world for once? ๐Ÿ™„ Anyway, I guess it's time for me to start looking into alternative options...

Ugh I'm freaking out about this ๐Ÿคฏ...I had just saved up enough cash to finally get my hands on the RTX 5070 Ti and now it's like it never existed ๐Ÿ™„. The memory crunch is real, I guess? It's crazy how one of the best GPUs just got taken away from us ๐Ÿšซ. And what's up with NVIDIA not providing the memory anymore? That's a huge blow to PC builders and gamers who rely on these high-end cards for gaming marathons ๐Ÿ’ป. I'm definitely going to have to hold off on upgrading my rig until this settles down...anyone else feeling the pain of losing their dream GPU ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

๐Ÿค” I'm not surprised to see the RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB go out of production - we've been seeing the memory crunch affect everything in the industry lately ๐Ÿ“‰. The shift towards high-bandwidth memory from data centers has definitely driven up prices for consumer RAM kits, GPUs, and SSDs ๐Ÿ’ธ.

It's interesting that NVIDIA is changing its relationship with its add-in board partners, making them source memory on their own ๐Ÿ‘€. This could have a big impact on the PC enthusiast community who rely on high-end GPUs for demanding games ๐ŸŽฎ. I mean, 8GB of VRAM was already a bit of a stretch for some modern titles, so it's not like these cards were ideal for everything.

I'm just worried that we're going to see a lot more of this in the future - NVIDIA and AMD constantly pushing out new GPUs with higher memory requirements, but the supply chain can't keep up ๐Ÿšซ. It's already getting tricky for people trying to build a new system or upgrade their existing one without breaking the bank ๐Ÿ’ธ.

It's not all bad news, though - it might drive some innovation in the industry, forcing companies to get creative with their designs and find ways to reduce costs ๐Ÿ’ก. But for now, it's just more reasons for PC enthusiasts to be frustrated ๐Ÿ˜ฉ.

.. think about all the sick gaming sessions I had with those RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB cards back in the day ๐Ÿคฏ They were so powerful, man! You could play all these crazy games at max settings without any issues ๐Ÿ˜… Now they're just a memory... literally ๐Ÿ’” ASUS was always reliable with their high-end GPUs, but I guess they couldn't keep up with the demand for that extra memory. I remember when those cards first came out, everyone was hyped about the 8GB of VRAM... now it's like, "oh well, good luck finding one" ๐Ÿ˜‚

OMG ๐Ÿ’ฅ just got the news that ASUS is discontinuing the RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB ๐Ÿคฏ anyone else gonna be devastated by this? ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ apparently NVIDIA told their partners they gotta source memory on their own now ๐Ÿ“ˆ which means we might see more price hikes for consumer RAM kits, GPUs, and SSDs soon ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I've got my eye on a new build and I'm really hoping to snag one of these babies before they're gone forever ๐Ÿ”ฅ stats say that 85% of gamers are still using systems with less than 8GB of VRAM ๐Ÿ“Š and those games are gonna get slower and slower if we don't upgrade ASAP ๐Ÿ’จ did some research and it turns out the memory crunch is affecting a lot of data center infrastructure companies too ๐Ÿค prices for consumer GPUs have already increased by 25% in the last quarter alone ๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿค” I'm kinda bummed about this news ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ. The RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB were some of the best cards out there for gaming, especially with all that extra VRAM ๐Ÿ’ป. Now it sounds like we're gonna have to live without 'em ๐Ÿ˜”.

Here's a little diagram to show how this affects me (and maybe you too?):
```
+---------------+
| Card Availability |
+---------------+
| RTX 5070 Ti | -> Unavailable
| 5060 Ti 16GB | -> Unavailable
+---------------+
|
| Limited options for gamers
v
```
I know, I know - it's not the end of the world ๐ŸŒŽ. But still, it's a bit frustrating when you really want that sweet, sweet VRAM ๐Ÿ’ธ. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what NVIDIA comes up with next ๐Ÿ‘€

Ugh, I'm so bummed about this news! ๐Ÿค• The RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB were amazing cards for playing those super demanding games and now they're just... gone? ๐Ÿ’” It's like NVIDIA is cutting off their own partners' options. I get it, the memory crunch is real and it's affecting everyone, but it sucks for PC enthusiasts who rely on these high-end GPUs.

I'm already seeing prices skyrocketing for other graphics cards and RAM kits. It's gonna be a tough time to upgrade or build a new system, especially if you're looking at 16GB of VRAM. I hope NVIDIA can find a way to get their act together and make more affordable options available in the future... that would be awesome! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Ugh, this is so frustrating! I mean, I get it, memory crunch and all that, but can't they just make more of these high-end GPUs? ๐Ÿคฏ It's like, I've been eyeing that RTX 5070 Ti for ages and now it's just gone. And don't even get me started on the 5060 Ti 16GB - I was really interested in getting one too. ๐Ÿ˜ก The prices are already sky-high and now they're just pulling them off the market? It's like NVIDIA is playing us all, you know? ๐Ÿค‘ I mean, I guess it makes sense that they want to control the memory supply, but come on! Can't we just have some decent options for gamers anymore? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

Ugh ๐Ÿคฏ, can you believe this? I mean, I get it, the memory crunch is real and all that, but it's like, PC enthusiasts are gonna have to deal with this for a looong time ๐Ÿ’ธ. I was really loving my RTX 5070 Ti, had some amazing gaming sessions ๐ŸŽฎ. Now, it's like ASUS just pulled the plug on me ๐Ÿ˜”. And what about all the gamers who need that extra VRAM? It's not just about playing games, it's about creativity and productivity too ๐ŸŽจ. NVIDIA needs to step up and find a solution, 'cause right now, it's just PC enthusiasts getting screwed over ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

OMG u guys, can't believe this ๐Ÿ˜ฑ ASUS is done with those RTX 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB cards already?! I mean, I knew the memory crunch was gonna be a thing but idk if i'm ready to give up on these cards just yet... ๐Ÿค” What's the point of even having high-end GPUs if u can't upgrade or expand ur ram? ๐Ÿ’ธ Like, what's next? Are they gonna stop making RTX 3080s too?! ๐Ÿ˜ฑ Need some backup plans ASAP ๐Ÿ‘

Ugh I'm literally so done with this memory crunch ๐Ÿคฏ! It's like NVIDIA and ASUS are playing some kinda cruel joke on us PC enthusiasts ๐Ÿ˜ก. First of all, the 5070 Ti is gone for good and we're left with like what's a few dozen options at best? And don't even get me started on the 5060 Ti 16GB... I mean I know it was already a bit pricey but come on ๐Ÿค‘! The fact that ASUS just dropped the ball on this whole thing is just another nail in the coffin for people who actually care about building a sick gaming rig ๐Ÿค–.

And can we talk about how this reflects on NVIDIA's business model? Like they're basically making their partners have to scramble around for memory on their own... it's just not right ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ. I mean what happened to the good old days where you could just plug and play with your GPU and SSDs? Now we're stuck with a never-ending cycle of shortages and price hikes... it's like, are they even listening to us at all?! ๐Ÿ˜ค

๐Ÿค” you know what's wild is how our addiction to power and performance can lead us down this path of scarcity and obsolescence... like, we're constantly trying to squeeze more out of these chips, but at what cost? I mean, think about it - we're living in a world where 16GB of VRAM was considered 'high-end' just last year, but now it's basically a relic. It's like we're running on a hamster wheel, expending all this energy and resources to keep up with the next shiny new thing... ๐Ÿš€ what does that say about our relationship with technology? ๐Ÿค–

ugh man i'm so bummed out about this news ๐Ÿค•! those 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16gb cards were like the crรจme de la crรจme of gpu's lol how are ppl gonna cope without them? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ nvidia should really start thinking about supporting its partners better, it's not right that they're gotta start sourcing memory on their own... that's just a huge undertaking ๐Ÿคฏ i mean what's next, nvidia making our own hardware too? ๐Ÿ™„ anyway, idk what the future holds for gpu enthusiasts, but one thing's for sure: this is a major blow to gamers worldwide ๐Ÿ’”

I'm so done with the memory crunch ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ“‰. I mean, I get it, data centers need more bandwidth and all that, but can't we just have some decent GPUs for gaming already? The fact that ASUS is yanking these high-end cards from production because of a shortage is just gonna push up prices even more ๐Ÿ’ธ. And now NVIDIA's allegedly making its partners source memory on their own? That's just great news for no one ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ. I'm starting to think we're stuck in some kinda GPU purgatory ๐Ÿ˜ฉ.

idk why ppl r gonna freak out about this... ASUS was prob just trying to conserve resources n stuff ๐Ÿค‘ the 5070 Ti's been a bit pricey 4 a while now, so i guess its only fair that they cut it loose. nvdia can't keep making GPUs w/o any issues, lol ๐Ÿ˜‚ what did gamers expect? some kinda magic solution? also, can we pls stop acting like memory shortages r the end of the world? ๐Ÿ™„

๐Ÿ˜ just great, another GPU shortage ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ i mean, i get it, memory crunch and all that ๐Ÿค‘ but what about us gamers who need those cards? it's like NVIDIA's just gonna leave us high and dry ๐Ÿ’ธ i was thinking of building a new rig and now it looks like those 5070 Ti and 5060 Ti 16GB cards are just dead in the water ๐Ÿ’€ not happy about this at all ๐Ÿ˜’
