To make the game more accessible to all players, Nintendo is also introducing an Assist Mode that enables quick recoveries from falls and protects against damage. This clever system ensures that no one gets left behind – even if they're struggling a bit.

So they're revamping the game with multiplayer features? That's cool, but can we talk about how annoying it is that they're doing this on the Switch 2 and not just releasing a simple update for the original Switch? Like, if I've got my console set up just so, now I have to deal with all these extra modes and whatnot. And what's up with the price of the enhancement pack? $20 seems like a lot, especially when you consider that we already pay enough to upgrade our consoles.
