These two products sold at Walmart are being recalled over safety concerns

Walmart Recalls Two Products Due to Safety Concerns

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued two separate recalls for products sold at Walmart, citing potential safety issues that could lead to burns and fires.

One of the recalled items is the Ozark Trail Tabletop 1-Burner Butane Camping Stove, which was sold nationwide in Walmart stores and online from March 2023 through October 2025. The stove can explode or catch fire, posing a burn and fire hazard to consumers. According to the CPSC, about 201,000 units of this product have been sold, with reports of explosions and fires resulting in second-degree burns for 16 individuals.

The agency warned that customers should stop using the product immediately and return it to Walmart for a refund, citing a recall number of 26-120.

A separate recall has also been issued for Outdoor Master children's helmets, which do not comply with certain safety requirements. The recall affects about 24,300 helmets sold online at Amazon.com and Walmart.com from June 2024 through February 2025. Two models are covered by the recall: OM-TD BIKE and OM-KSKB.

The OM-TD BIKE is a blue helmet with dinosaur print, while the OM-KSKB is described as "deep green" with black padding and yellow straps. The CPSC advises consumers to stop using the recalled helmets immediately and contact Outdoor Master for a refund, citing a recall number of 26-122.

To date, no injuries have been reported associated with these products.

omg u guys ! 🀯 Walmart is recalling like two super important products right now! first off, their camping stove can literally catch on fire πŸ”₯ and cause burns . i mean i get it, mistakes happen but 201k units sold? that's just crazy 😲. so make sure to stop using it ASAP and return it for a refund.

and then there's these outdoor kids helmets... πŸ€ͺ they don't meet safety standards , which is super concerning. like, how do u even know if it's safe or not? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ anyway, they're recalling 24k+ of them so hopefully no one got hurt . just remember to stop using 'em and get a refund too.

anyway, just thought i'd share... stay safe out there! πŸ’‘

awww man πŸ˜”... can u even imagine being in an accident or having a burn like that?? πŸ€• that's so scary! i'm glad the gov is taking action tho πŸ’― it's always better to be safe than sorry, right? πŸ™ at least they're recalling these products and letting people know about them ASAP. poor people who bought those helmets... πŸ˜” hope they get their money back soon πŸ’Έ

Ugh, can you believe this? 😩 First, it's these super popular camping stoves that are literally going to explode in your face and then there's kids' helmets that aren't even meeting safety standards 🀯 I mean, what's next? Walmart's gonna start selling exploding toys? πŸŽ‚

I'm all for recalls, but come on! 201k units of a stove sold and no one thought to test it properly before hitting the market? That's just lazy πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. And now people are getting hurt because of it... it's just not right.

On the other hand, I guess it's good that they're taking responsibility and making the kids safer with those helmets πŸ™Œ. But honestly, shouldn't we be doing better than this? Like, shouldn't companies be innovating instead of relying on recalls all the time? It feels like we're just playing catch-up here... πŸ˜”

I'm so glad Walmart is taking action on this! I mean, can you even imagine being out in the woods or playing sports and your stove just explodes? πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ It's a total nightmare. The fact that they're recalling like 200k units of that camping stove already is crazy to me... 16 people with second-degree burns from it? That's not okay. And for those helmets, I'm pretty sure kids are gonna be upset when they find out they can't wear them anymore. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ At least no injuries have been reported yet though, fingers crossed that continues!

Ugh, Walmart's safety record is getting worse by the day πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. I mean, two recalls in one year? It's just not good enough! And what's up with these products being sold for months without anyone catching on to the issues? The Ozark Trail stove has been out there since March 2023 and we're only hearing about it now because some people have already gotten hurt πŸš’. I'm so tired of big corporations thinking they can just churn out products without putting safety first. It's like, come on Walmart, step up your game! πŸ’”

Ugh, just got this news about Walmart recalling two products πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ! First, a camping stove that can literally catch fire? That's so reckless! I mean, we all know accidents happen, but come on, Walmart should've done better quality control. And to make matters worse, 16 people already suffered second-degree burns from these explosions... it's just not worth the risk πŸ€•.

And then there's this outdoor helmet recall... helmets are supposed to protect our kids' heads, not put their lives at risk 😨! I'm all for safety regulations, but it seems like companies are only looking out for themselves. Can't we expect more from corporations? πŸ’Έ It's just frustrating when you think about the potential harm these products could've caused... 🀯

I mean, yeah... safety first, right? πŸ™ Those stoves are just crazy! I'm glad Walmart is being proactive about recalling them - it's better to be safe than sorry. And poor people who got hurt by those explosions... hope they're okay now. πŸ’” But, you know, at least we're talking about it and fixing the problem before anyone else gets hurt. Recalls are like a bad joke, but someone's gotta tell 'em πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ, right?

πŸ€” I'm surprised that more people aren't aware of this recall yet. It's always good to stay vigilant when it comes to product safety. The fact that over 200k units of the camping stove have been sold is crazy, and 16 people ended up with second-degree burns? That's just unacceptable.

It's interesting that both recalls were issued by Walmart, but one of them happened in March last year. You'd think they would've caught those issues sooner, right?

I also wonder what went wrong with the helmet designs. It seems like common sense to make sure kids' helmets meet basic safety standards. But I guess we can't always expect companies to get it right... 😐
