Britain's mixed doubles curlers Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds have secured their place in the Winter Olympics semi-finals with a 7-5 victory over Canada, followed by a 6-4 win over the United States. The duo has maintained a perfect record of seven wins from seven round-robin games and sits at the top of the standings.
Mouat and Dodds' success came despite Snoop Dogg's absence as the US honorary coach, hype man, and rapper. However, the pair were not fazed and produced statement performances in both matches.
"We're coming here to try to get a medal," Mouat said after their victories. "We've been after it for four years at least now." Dodds added, "I feel like a hot mess at the moment but the energy levels are good. I'm playing the sport I love at the Olympics, so I don't need any more adrenaline or caffeine."
The US had previously beaten Canada, but neither of those matches could halt the growing momentum of Mouat and Dodds. The duo's wins took their record to seven from seven round-robin games.

they're basically just using his name to bring some 'cool factor' to the US team and it's kinda cringeworthy 
but i guess if it works for them who am i to judge? what i do find funny tho is that Mouat said he doesn't need any more adrenaline or caffeine after his match lol like dude, you just won a curling game with the highest scores! 
but seriously, the Brits are on fire right now and i'm excited to see if they can keep it up
