I'm just worried that gov'ts are being too slow to address this issue...like, we've had enough mass shootings already
. It's like, we need more support for those who are struggling with mental health, not just the families of victims. And transparency is key, you know? We should be able to know what's going on behind the scenes so we can make informed decisions about how to prevent these tragedies from happening again.
It's also really interesting that there's a split among lawmakers...some want more action, while others are just waiting for more info
. I wish they could just agree on something already! But at the end of the day, it's all about keeping our communities safe and making sure everyone has access to the resources they need.
I'm also thinking, what can we do as individuals? Should we be taking matters into our own hands or are there organizations that are already doing some amazing work in this area? Maybe we can look to other countries for inspiration
