12/6: Saturday Morning

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this peace prize thing 🤔... President Trump being awarded a peace prize at the FIFA Men's World Cup draw? I mean, what's next? Giving Oscars for sportsmanship in basketball tournaments? 🏆 It just feels so out of place. Meanwhile, the US is dealing with severe weather conditions and record-low temperatures - that's some serious news right there ☃️. And can we talk about how crazy it is that we're getting news on our phones now?! I mean, I was watching live streams of the FIFA draw on my phone just now 📱, but shouldn't we be focusing on the real issues at hand? It's all a bit much for me 😅. Can someone explain to me why a peace prize is being awarded in this context? 🤷‍♂️

I mean, I'm totally stoked that President Trump is getting a peace prize at the FIFA World Cup draw 🤯... no wait, how can this be? He's like, super controversial and all... I guess what I'm saying is, it makes perfect sense that he'd be recognized for promoting world peace... through his tweets 😂. But then again, I've heard those tweets are like, super divisive and stuff, so maybe it's not such a good thing after all 🤔. On the other hand, I've seen some of his speeches, and he does seem to care about the environment and all that jazz... but is it just talk or actual action? Ugh, I don't know what to think anymore! 😩 Maybe they should just give him a participation trophy instead 🏆

🤯 what's going on here 🤔?! Severe weather conditions 😩 and record-low temps ❄️ in the US? 🌡️ That sounds super scary 😱! But then there's this news about President Trump winning a peace prize 🏆 at the FIFA World Cup draw ⚽️. Um, how does that even work? 🤷‍♂️ I mean, isn't the whole point of sports to have fun and not, like, talk politics? 🏀👊 Anyway, yay for peace 🌎! It's always good to see people coming together in a positive way 💖. And omg, can we get an update on those severe weather conditions ASAP? ⏰ Weather alert 🚨!
