I'm really disappointed to hear about these young guys making such awful choices
. I mean, think about it - these are 18-year-olds who should be out living their best lives after high school, not behind bars for something like this. It's just so... preventable, you know?
And the fact that they were able to lure someone into a minivan and take her against her will is just horrific
.
It's also pretty sad that these guys are all friends with each other - it's like, how did they not see what was going on in front of them?
And now they're facing serious charges because of their reckless behavior. I hope the girl who was victimized is doing okay and that she gets the support she needs
.
Anyway, I just want to remind everyone to always look out for each other and to speak up if you see something suspicious or uncomfortable going down
. And if you're a guy, make sure you're never in a situation where you feel pressured to do something that makes someone else (or yourself) uncomfortable
.
